“Nothing wrong with JP2, it’s an expensive parking space, in a field. Booking procedure straightforward. Helpful operator. APNR entry was seamless. Bus from park to arrivals was ok, especially with cabin-only luggage. Some older customers were struggling with full sets. It was daylight…no problems.
Return was a different story. We were dropped at JP1, believing it to be JP2. We weren’t the only ones. Obviously, at 1.30am, in the rain, we couldn’t find the car. Once amongst the vehicles, although we had noted the lane where we thought the car should be, the signage was hopeless. Eventually, the penny dropped and we lugged our cabin-only bags to the adjoining field and the car was exactly where it should have been. It only needed some thoughtful/intelligent additions to the signs and we would have known immediately we were in the wrong place.
I suggest you take someone unfamiliar with the task, drop them in a field full of cars, identical to the next one and see how long it takes them to win the prize. Or go by taxi next time.

“Jet Parks 2 is the smaller of the two Jet Parks at EMA. It is a bit closer to the terminal, but is the last for the courtesy bus to pick up and drop off, so the bus may be full after you’ve dropped your car. Because of its smaller size it’s probably easier to find your car on return and the bus stops are more conveniently located. Only gripe is that number plate recognition failed to operate on leaving the car park and myself and other drivers had to contact staff via intercom to get the barrier opened. Not great at 2am on a rainy night!”
