“Easy process and helpful staff. Felt confident i was leaving my car in a safe place, Coach waiting at airport so no delay in getting on the road home.”
“Plane landed at 0100 and returned to Silver Zone by 0145. Plenty of buses and good service. Unfortunately, the car was not in the designated space. Left my wife with the luggage in a cold and windy car park whilst I returned to the terminal, so they could sort it out.
Have used the Silver Zone many times and whilst this was the first time they have made a mistake, it would have been OK on a warm afternoon, but not on a cold early morning when you're tired.”
“Its not cheap, but more convenient than the train, especially at the end of your trip when you just want to get home.
That said, its easy to park, drop your key and pick up a ticket. Buses go to the terminal all the time, so no waiting. same on way back. Easy to gey key back and retrieve car. So away fast.
A member of staff had the sense to collect ALL the incoming green receipts so they could process the key returns 10x faster than one at a time. Good move!”
“It was very busy when we drove in on Tues 7th October. Not seen it that busy. Drivers were being directed to drive past the incoming barrier. Lots of staff on hand to help with deposit of car keys.
Bus was very full going to airport.
Long queues at silver zone coming back from holiday. More buses coming together on busy times would be a solution to this. It's the last thing passengers want to do after a flight, queueing at passport security and waiting for luggage to find an even longer queue for silver zone transportation.”
