“The car park was easy to find, and although its quite spread out, it is easily walkable from the entry side. The bus service is regular, and well signposted with covered shelters if the weather is bad.”
“WE arrived at 4.30 am but after 20 mins a bus hadn't turned up to take us to the terminal. So we walked.
And even when we had reached the terminal there was no evidence that a bus had been doing the rounds. At that time in the morning when it is still cold you need the bus. If travelling to warm places one doesn't need heavy clothing on the plane etc.”
“The use of ANPR makes arrival and leaving a breeze and there were ample spaces. One thing to watch out for: We were actually staying at the Travel Lodge opposite car park 7 but didn't realise that it doesn't have its own car park - you have to stay in car park 7 to do this. The thing that caught us out was you can't change to another car park until your time in the other car park has expired (so we'd booked extra hours in car park 5 to cover our flight being late which meant we couldn't swap). This isn't really the fault of NCP (more Travel Lodge since they don't make this clear upon booking at all) - just something to be aware of. The NCP bus drivers were great and accommodated our zipping back and forth so a big thank you to them for this.”
