Had prebooked with APH. Hadn't realised the machine hadn't completed number plate recognition on entry and machine tried to charge us over £200 at exit. Pressed the intercom for assistance and the man let us through. Bit inconvenient for drivers behind us waiting to get out.
Contacted car park 5 as we believe our tow bar was stolen whilst there. Though didn't clock this until next day.
Asked them to look at cctv. Still waiting for an answer.”
“Easy to get to the car park. Easy to to Park, get to the terminal and on returning easy to leave. There was a little issue with my ticket on leaving but was VERY quickly sorted out by the operator who answered the phone call.”
“Convenient location but had to drive round and round to find a place on arrival.
We had prepaid but the machine on exit tried to charge us £103 No idea why. It was sorted eventually but not without a large queue building up behind. Not what’s needed after a flight and a late arrival”
“Easy directions and plenty of parking available when we used it early July. Took about 10 mins to walk to Departures. Car no plate recognition in use, so barriers lifted without any problems. Would definitely use again.”
“When I got back to my car and went to the barrier i looked and it said I owed £143
So I got in contact wit your selves and the gentleman was VERY-POLITE AND HELPFUL
I didn’t owe the said amount but it took this amount from my bank
The gentleman then told me what to do
All in all it was very professional ftt try I’m the gentleman
I am now awaiting my refund”
“Pre paid and after returning from holiday place the ticket in the machine and it demanded £ 142 and I pressed the buzzer and eventually got through and told them I pre paid and then the barrier was opened”
“Yes, Secure and near Departures....BUT...having paid Online and read the parking instructions when I got to the entry barrier the ANPR DID NOT GIVE ME ACCESS ! Very frustrating. It eventually gave me a ticket...but at the time I did not know whether this was a PAY ticket.
Came back from holiday....same thing at the EXIT, NO ANPR RECOGNITION !
Which meant I had to use the 'call button'...eventually a voice asked for my REG and Reference on the paperwork, confirmed...and let me out ! Not what I needed when tired and wanting to drive home!”
