APH Birmingham Self Park Reviews

The self park depot was easier to locate coming from our direction and once all explained it was easy to use. Return journey was just as easy with helpful Bus drivers to guide us. Will definitely book again for next year.

Easy to find. I like the fact you parked your own car. Didn't have to wait long for the bus transfers. Will use again.

Really impressed with this - particularly as Tesco Clubcard covered most of the cost! We arrived in the early hours, received clear instructions from the warden as to where to park, and were lucky with our timing as a bus was waiting. Special mention to this very friendly driver, who helped us with our (heavy) cases. On our return to the UK at around 4.30 pm, again we were fortunate as there was a bus waiting. Unfortunately, this driver was rather less helpful and we struggled with our cases (the bus was pretty full and we had to manhandle the cases up high, without assistance). I have skills, but weightlifting above head height isn't one of them, so it would have been nice to be assisted. However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this car park and would use them again due to the efficiency and convenience overall.

Very easy to use, car park is abit tight if you have a large car. Struggled to get in my car as someone had parked so close. But apart from that very happy with my experience will use again.

My car was ok after the 5 days I left it in the car park, so no complaints on that front. The down side was that I had used APH before for manchester airport so I was a little bit disappointed with Birmingham in comparison. The instructions for Birmingham stated that I drive in and a marshall would greet me and give me instructions for parking. I drove in past the security office and waited in a space. I waited but no-one came to me, so I went to the open door of the office and asked what I needed to do. At this point only did someone come out and instruct me with what I needed to do. Also this car park was self park. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but the car park was tightly packed and for cars pulling into spaces it could be challenging especially with a larger car. I was worried that somebody who was not so good at parking their car could accidentally hit mine while I was away. Lastly when arriving back into the country I waited at the bus stop. I had no idea at all that there would be more than one bus to the car park (Still stating airparks/aph on the side) and not all buses would be the one I required. Everyone waiting had the same confusion about what bus they needed to get. The bus however did the required job and we all got back to our cars safely. I just believe if this was done more professionally and smoothly with more info for customers, possibly even with the company parking the cars for customers as in Manchester it would be a much better experience.
