“We have always used the car park for going to Birmingham airport! Unfortunately the prices have gone sky high! Not sure why which is a shame, as people will kot be able to afford it.”
“Easy to find using my satnav. no problems unloading or retrieving our luggage. The buses ran very regularly. We will use again.
If there was one criticism it would be that as my husband was in a wheelchair and obviously not very mobile (although he can walk short distances) the driver of the bus when we returned home could see he was struggling with his suitcase ( as although we had had assistance in the airport, he was wheeled to the but stop and just left there) but as I was dragging my case and bag onto the bus, was quite happy to stay sat behind the wheel watching him struggle with his case and the wheelchair and his walking stick and did nothing to assist him. Luckily there were some nice friendly people also on the coach who were only too happy to help him and not watch him struggle. The same driver (who may have had his conscience slightly pricked by this) did actually say we could leave our cases by the bus stop and bring the car to them, but midway through putting them into the boot said we would have to move the car as he needed to leave. I pulled forward to continue and then set my satnav up for our return journey during which time the bus went nowhere and the driver was still stood outside it making no attempt to drive away as we left. Annoying but 1 person wont ruin the holiday for us. Shame about the lack of empathy and customer service on the drivers part though.
All in all, mostly a very easy way to start and end our holiday.”
