APH Birmingham Self Park Reviews

Good safe parking facility just a shame prices have doubled since last year, i had a discount from my bank, if we hadn't had this it would have been cheaper for us to get a taxi straight into the airport.

Drop off in daylight was fine. Unfortunately the same can't be said on the return. The car park was dimly lit and with not being a tarmac surfaced car park the suitcases were dirty at the bottom around wheels as it's basically mud with a few stones on it.Why you moved from your former location at Hams Hall I don't know but know your current location calls way short

Great staff. Everything went smoothly. Id never done airport parking before so was quite anxious about it but helpful staff made it easy.

Representative on arrival very officious. Asked for proof of booking when presented he states "that's no good it is for AHP not Airparks. Further, then states no proof is required I can check on system" when I gave him booking details. Would not allow dropping off passengers we had to wheel 2 large cases through a wet muddy potholed parking area, that is the new ruling for self parking. How would the elderly or infirm cope? Parking space allocated was non-existent, on arrival back he notifies me I cannot park to discuss the issue near the office cabin. Very arrogant approach and extremely poor customer service previous bookings at this facility have been excellent. It now appears if you book with APH you are not welcome seriously consider alternative parking when flying out of Birmingham it seems APH customers are not appreciated or valued.

The check-in process wasn't very clear, I had parked in a section of the car park and needed to bring my car back round to check it in. I was then told to go to the yellow car park where they may or may not be 1 space available (fortunatly there was). Then when I returned I went to the barrier to get out and it wouldn't let me. I then approached a steward to help me and he struggled to let me out too, so had to call his colleague to lift the barrier.
