“This was our first time here and feel it is in a bit of an odd place. Arrived about 4.30am and we were directed where to park and given a ticket for the return bus trip. Waited about 25 minutes for the bus and it took us to the airport. Drop off and pick up at the same place so that is quite easy. In return we waited about 20 minutes but other buses pull up too and it is not easy to identify which bus to get on. Luckily the driver told us that it was the next bus for Mackadown Road which duly arrived and took us back. No issues getting out although the parking spaces are quite tight and the rows are too. Maximum use of the space available to make maximum profit. Price wise it is not cheap either, but cheaper than getting a taxi there and back to Lincoln. Would use again now we now where it is etc.”
“I feel standards have slipped. At 5am there was only a bus every 25 minutes, too infrequent. Also, with self park they did not allow us to unload our suitcases at the check-in kiosk which would have taken seconds, instead we were made to wheel our luggage from the parked car over the gravel surface. Not impressed.”
“Arrived early in the morning, someone there to greet us. We were told which area to park in.
Bus was there within 5 mins.
Ticket given us for the bus to come back, jumped on, picked up car.
All very easy and efficient”
“Having used APH for years at varied airports we were really disappointed with the grumpy reception from staff. Our booking could not be found for ages. When eventually it was there was not even an attempt at an apology. We were not told what to do or how to go about self parking, whether to keep keys or not. When we arrived back I had to ask after a 'gate code' and was briskly told that I did not need one anymore. After so many years of good service with recommendations to others we were really put off and disappointed. Is this APH or Airparks nowadays? If this is what mergers do it clearly does not help.”
“Quick check in self park (spaces are a little tight). Short walk to bus stop (is an indoor shelter while you wait. Buses every 20 min and takes around 20 minutes. Would use again”
