“This clock was a complete winner with my 87 year old Mother-in-law who couldn’t remember what day it was. She can now use the calendar to see when appointments are and look up the correct day for what’s on TV. It will be a great help to her.”

“I bought the alz clock because of the clarity and , it was the only clock of this style that did not show the words morning, afternoon etc. on show at the same time as the date and time was showing. It is there if you need to know, but I did not want that on display all the time. I had the clock a week, and my daughter saw it wanted one, so I got a second for her home. It is fairly easy to set up, but amazingly when I opened the package, it showed the correct date, and european time, easily adjusted to GB time. lovely clock”

“Please note this clock display auto fades at 7pm each day. I'd say the lettering reduces from 100% white to 70% strength. Which makes it tricky to read in the evening for elderly relative, which is disappointing as this kind of defeats the purpose. This wasn't mentioned in the description nor in the manual and I cant find a way to override it. Emailed support but no reply. If anyone knows how to override this, please post instructions. Otherwise, when not in fade mode, this is a great clock and unfussy display is good and bright. Im not sure what time the display goes back to full strength brightness of lettering as I don't live with relative.”
