The machine is exactly as described. I have had a number of Janome machines and always been happy with them, this one is the quietest ever, it simply purrs as it sews. I love the automatic thread cutter, keeps all the little threads neat and tidy. The machine reverses intuitively at the beginning nd end of stitch lines. Really looking forward to using this machine for many years and utilising all of the stitches.

This purchase was an upgrade from my basic Janome. The information from The Sewing Studio about this sewing machine was amazing! There are You Tube videos available to watch and this swayed me to buy from The Sewing Studio. The video from Anna on how to use the machine was invaluable, and I learned so much from watching it a few times after I bought the machine. Delivery was free and super quick, with excellent communication. Thank you The Sewing Studio I'm delighted with my new sewing machine and I'm able to find my way around it so much quicker thanks to your videos.

Very happy with this machine so far. Straight out of the box and have completed two projects that my old machine couldn't handle. It's very user friendly and I love that whilst it is a complicated electronic option with lots of features, it's still very simple and does the basics very well too.

An upgrade to my manual Janome which stood me in good stead for over 10 years. The Sewing Studio online videos were very helpful in guiding my choice to the M200QDC. A "mid priced" machine which performs all the stitches I need and more and a great range of tools and feet included! Ordering and delivery were easy and quick and I am delighted with the machine itself. So versatile and easy to use - I can't wait to get going. I have no negatives to report.......

The only grips are the stitch card keeps fall off. The space for the screw to change the sewing foot to the freemotion foot makes it difficult, too small... The handbook is generally good but for some information being on a separate sheet. Could not play the disc so no comment on that. The foot peddle feels very flimsy. Otherwise I like it.

This machine is a great step up from my old Singer. I have bought it for patchwork and quilting. I am fairly new to this craft so have found some features very useful. I particularly like the speed control, the drop needle stop function which is handy for all the necessary pivoting of fabric when stitching and it’s ease of use. It came with a good selection of feet suitable for patchwork and quilting including the walking foot. The numerous possible stitches could be useful although mainly to make my own quilt labels, a lot of other possibilities. The machine comes with clear instructions and a helpful DVD. I would recommend the Janome M200QDC to other people. I am working on a crib size quilt that has been pieced and ditch stitched on this machine by myself. This is a project in progress! Next step will be the detailed free motion stitching. I have been practising on spare fabric and the machine copes really well, easy to control with the speed control.

I am delighted with my new machine. It’s the little details that make it stand out from the crowd. Things like the tiny pincushion, conveniently located but not in your way , the button to raise and lower the needle and the thread cutter. I could go on! I just love it .
