“This machine is a great step up from my old Singer. I have bought it for patchwork and quilting. I am fairly new to this craft so have found some features very useful. I particularly like the speed control, the drop needle stop function which is handy for all the necessary pivoting of fabric when stitching and it’s ease of use. It came with a good selection of feet suitable for patchwork and quilting including the walking foot. The numerous possible stitches could be useful although mainly to make my own quilt labels, a lot of other possibilities. The machine comes with clear instructions and a helpful DVD. I would recommend the Janome M200QDC to other people. I am working on a crib size quilt that has been pieced and ditch stitched on this machine by myself. This is a project in progress! Next step will be the detailed free motion stitching. I have been practising on spare fabric and the machine copes really well, easy to control with the speed control.”

“I am delighted with my new machine. It’s the little details that make it stand out from the crowd. Things like the tiny pincushion, conveniently located but not in your way , the button to raise and lower the needle and the thread cutter. I could go on! I just love it .”

“I haven't had chance to experience my new janome fully as yet but so far with what I've done I'm more than happy. I love the machine and can't wait to start quilting but have to finish other projects first. The customer service I received from kayleigh regarding my delivery was excellent. She was a superstar tracking the machine when we had problems. I am looking forward to doing business again with the sewing studio in the future and continue to watch their you tube video's as they are extremely helpful. Thank you the sewing studio”

“Have yet to work out the needle threader! Everything else is brilliant. I'm using this for patchwork quilts, applique and am making use of lots of the stitches available. Love this machine! Easy to use and a pleasure to sew with. Much quieter than my old machine.”

“This machine is perfect for what I'm looking for. It's perfect size and plenty of features, but without being too intimidating. Easy to use and a joy. And an absolute joy to purchase from sewing studio again! The most efficient shop ever, quickest delivery and just wonderful customer service. “I replaced an awful other make machine with this. Within 30 min I had finished a project with fmq. The quality of the machine is fabulous. Easy to figure out with good manual. My only comment is I don't find the light bright enough but I added the led strip and use my led desk lamp, my eyesight is not great! But easi.y remedied. I'm very happy with my lovely purchase”
