“The person I saw was very dismissive and was implying that I was lying, saying he found it hard to believe I was experiencing what I was even though he was told I’d been treated and seen in hospital for them”
“I saw a doctor for a whole 2 minutes who didn’t listen to anything I said and told me my injury will apparently magically heal itself in the next month, despite me having had no improvement in the last 5.
Utter waste of time.”
“The duration of the appointment was less than 5 minutes. I wouldn’t call it an examination at all !! I was told by my military doctors to had him paperwork and physiotherapy paperwork for him to have as I’ve been seen by my doctors. He didn’t want to know what the paperwork was and didn’t accept him !!”

“My medical apointment felt like a complete and utter waste of time. I wasnt asked a single question regarding my prolonged affects since the crash itself happened. All the doctor asked me was to describe the crash itself. My injury was to my hand, i attended my apointment with my cast still on (it came off 2 days later). The doctor then asked me the extent of my injury and how long i had allready been off with it which was 6 weeks. After having the cost off 2 days after the apointment the hospital have now told me to remain off work for a further 4 weeks.
Regardless of this as i say, i was never asked any questions regarding the trauma i have suffered since having the accident, i was led to believe these were the types of things that would be discussed. As i am unaware how a dr can write up a report on my phycological injuries based on a 2 minute conversation where all he asked was in regards to the crash itself and what damage it caused to my hand.
All in all it felt a complete and utter waste of time.”

“The ‘expert’ kept telling me none of my injuries were from, telling me I’m not in pain and constantly talking over me while his assistant was huffing and puffing in the corner.”
“I have been completely violated thouout this process, there has been no communication with anyone in your department’s. I have tried to sign documents with links that don’t work, I have tried to contact you and been hung up on or never replied to. I now have had my whole clam cancelled which means all medical appointments cancelled for apparently not replying when all I have done is try and contact you.”

“I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist said that the doctor hadn’t arrived yet but to take a seat. The doctor arrived then 10 minutes later. Obviously late and having people waiting visually and audibly irritated (not myself), the doctor proceeded to tell the receptionist that she’d arrived in the area early but, given that she had an hour or so before her first appointment, went instead to her friends house for a drink and a catch up before losing track of time. All of this was well within earshot of the people waiting. The result was a backlog of patients. My appointment itself happened around 30/35 minutes later than scheduled. It lasted no more than 5 minutes and was clearly rushed as it came to a fairly unnatural close. I caught up with my parents later in the day who had an appointment with you a few days prior but with a different doctor at a different location. Whilst they answers they provided were similar, they said their appointment lasted around 10/15 minutes each and included an inspection which was altogether a different experience to the one I received and reinforces my suspicion that my appointment was rushed due to the doctor being late.”

“Considering that I suffer with complex PTSD and fear of travel, my case has so far been managed horrifically. I was made to travel far outside of my home town for a review, this was terrifying in itself. I was then subjected to incorrect thoughts and opinions of the GP, which I found retraumatising. This process has scared me.”
