My acrylic block photo for my husband’s funeral memorable arrived damaged. I was told it would be dealt with but I’ve heard nothing and it’s too late to get a replacement. Very disappointed and won’t be using this company again.

Hi Dani, We’re genuinely sorry that the acrylic block for your husband’s memorial reached you in anything less than perfect condition. We understand how important the piece is and how distressing it must have been to open a damaged parcel at such an emotional time. Having received your email on Saturday, our team replied that afternoon and organised an urgent reprint. Because our print house is closed at weekends, production began first thing Monday and the finished block left the studio on Tuesday, triple-checked for quality. DPD’s automated system should have sent you tracking updates, but we appreciate those can sometimes be missed. Unfortunately the original damage was caused in transit, not by the printing process, but we still take full responsibility for getting a perfect keepsake into your hands—fast and at no extra cost. According to the courier the replacement was with the couriers on the very day your review was posted, so we hope it reached you safely and meets the standard you expected. If there’s anything at all still not right, please email me directly at support@utterlyprintable.com and we’ll put it right straight away. I was impressed with the design approach and options on the website and was excited to get the cards. However, they were massively overexposed and so dark that you can hardly see the images properly. This has delayed me sending out the christening thank yous as I now need to get a new set done elsewhere. I will not be recommending your services.

Hi Alexis, Thank you for your feedback. We are really sorry to hear that you were not completely happy with your order. We always try our absolute best to deliver the best possible product for our customers. Being completely upfront, we have seen this type of issue before: photos can appear significantly different on a backlit screen, compared to how they look when printed. This is particularly the case for photos on the darker end of the spectrum, such as the ones you uploaded. We do try to highlight this possibility on our website, but we have clearly not been effective enough in conveying this, and we sincerely apologise for that. We are working on a plugin that will be able to detect and warn users when they upload photos that are too dark. We hope to have this live very soon! Thank you again for your feedback! I found the website was NOT user friendly at all. It was difficult to resize font to make it consistent on each page, I wasn’t able to make font bold and copying and pasting had to be done using via control c and control v only. Print quality was good and delivery was fast but wouldn’t use them again. I was unable to select the amount of copies I required as the drop down box wouldn’t appear and it took me several attempts before I was able to.

From what you described, it sounds to me that you encountered it just after we pushed some upgrades live, which can cause things like dropdown menus not to work for a little while. Whilst we fully understand your decision not to use us again, I would like to tell you that we are constantly working on our service to improve the user experience. Things are getting better, faster, and easier to use by the day, and should you wish to give us another try, I'd wager you'd be quite impressed! Poor service and very poor quality print and card, despite me paying for the most expensive card. Lots of defects on the print and no apology when I got in touch. Wish I had used another company for my wedding invites but sadly have had to accept what I have.

Didnt come back to me on a problem, sent wrong cards out in the post, now cant save new design, going to another site

I wanted a design for change of address label which I could adapt to include with a Christmas card but the A5 size could not be changed.

Did not print the correct amount of page, personalisation possibilities was not very wide and the interface was harder to use especially considering I am a very tech-capable 21-year-old! Additionally, when I downloaded the PDF it was downloaded in 2 different files and I had to use a third-party technology in order to merge the two.

Hi Poppy, I am very sorry about all the problems you described in your feedback. Regarding the interface, it does, unfortunately, look like your order coincided with a bug on our website. I am very sorry about that! I would like to highlight that we have been working constantly on our platform since then, and it is now bug-free, much quicker, and substantially easier to use. We will continue to work on things to make the order process as easy as can be. Likewise, for the download-only issue you described: customers are now sent 3 different format versions of their designs. This means that 99.9% of the time, they will have a format that meets their needs. I can only apologise that this was not in place when you made your order.
