The notebook I ordered didn't open as flat as I wanted, but the journal shop were very quick to respond and offered options including to return the notebook. So I definitely appreciate their customer service, which is also a real person.. even better. I will be returning to their shop in the future.

Received a faulty item so contacted customer service to report this. I was offered a few solutions promptly and ended up being supplied a replacement.

Dear Shannon We definitely do publish negative product reviews - in fact as well as being a useful way for other customers to learn about a product's good and bad points, they help us make decisions about whether we continue to stock a product in our range. Your review was caught by a feature called auto-moderation (which is sort of like a spam inbox). We periodically scan the moderated queue for reviews caught by this feature and unmoderate them. Your review has been released from that queue along with others in the same group. I have checked the reply to your review and cannot see a request for revision or any suggestion that the publication of your product review is dependent upon a company review being left for us. I note that my colleague Chantelle asked you to reach out to our support team to help you with your faulty product. We do request company and product reviews and you may well have received a separate email about that. There is absolutely no pressure to do this, it's always entirely optional and helpful to other users if you can provide some insight into the way you use your product, or your experience with it.
