“Lovely and varied selection of beers, easy to browse and order online, and promptly picked and packed. For delivery they used DPD as the courier who were very efficient - it was easy to update preferences when the recipient of the beer was going to be out.”

“I’ve been unable to travel to Belgium for 4 years due to leg amputation but at last I can drink the lovely beers again. Refreshing beers like Rodenbach, Gueuze & Kriek. Then tasty strong abbey beers. Good selection and fast hassle free delivery. Tried the coconut beer with a curry the other night and it was delicious Highly recommended, just waiting on the Gordon Scotch coming back in stock”

“Always, always had positive experiences and great, personal, customer support over the years I’ve used The Belgian Beer Co, which is quite a few now, I think. For a long time (well over a year, maybe closer to two) I had a monthly subscription which was a long term Xmas present I bought for someone. Unfortunately, due to sudden drop in income and the usual increasing prices in general - food, fuel, essential services etc - we all are experiencing I had to pause it but did check beforehand that at I could just restart again when ready. During all this times, and the years before I still also made many other personalised orders with our favourite beers and have never been disappointed. The packaging is great, even before they changed and it I have never had a single breakage. If something became out of stock, or if expected deliveries of the items ordered were delayed, I have always been contacted and given options regarding this. This has happened a max of two times over the years. It has been my go-to for both new and much-loved favourite as it really is a great company, which seems to have grown in popularity hugely since my first order. My most recent purchase - which arrived just last Tuesday (earlier than even stated, which is often the case), we haven’t actually tried yet. Mostly as I’m trying very hard not to try any before my partner is here too, as it’s a new, 40th anniversary Chouuffe ‘surprise’, mainly for him, but both of as really. I have gone so far as putting one in my fridge as I was expecting a lovely meal delivery, which I think would have gone perfectly with the spice level. Unfortunately order was unable to be delivered so this chouffe is still staring at me, taunting me, every time I open the fridge. I only have to wait u til tomorrow night now, but not sure I’ll not crack before then! The various chouffes are definitely within our first few favourites on ‘the list’, so I know he’ll also be really excited to try. I will obviously need to review the product once tasted but I can’t think of a similar reason why it won’t be a 5*, as all the other varieties are, and as the company is. Anything from the spiritually fulfilling Orval to the never-disappointing chouffe and all the hundreds in between. Most of which are from our trips to Belgium and our stocking up in any supermarket in Belgium, France, Germany etc over the years until it has become difficult for me to travel, due to health problems. But so many new, or just ones we didn’t have time to try before, and our favourites have always been available from TBBC, either from me putting together individually chosen boxes down to the selection in their subscription boxes. Many a new brand/variety have been discovered over the subscription time period, along with some great favourites. Honestly not a negative thing I can say TBBC,which includes any reasons to reach out to customer support or vice versa, and it’s always seemed to have a very personal touch.”

“Excellent service My order was well packed and arrived quickly. An excellent range of Belgian Beers in stock. I ordered some items that were in a sale. I would not order again from this site as the prices are too high. By way of illustration, one of my favourite beers is Kasteel Donker/Brune. The Beers of Europe website sells this for £3.89 with a further discount for buying a case. Beer Merchants charge £3.80 and offer further discounts periodically. This site charges £4.98 and offers no discount. This price differential is similar for most beers I would buy.”
