“Great quality hinges and quick next day delivery. A minor problem with a few missing fastenings all sorted out via email and arrived the post the next morning. Have used SD Hardware in the past and have always been pleased with the quality and dispatch times.”

“Product good delivery abysmal. Three different days advised as delivery day - no one turned up. On fourth day I had to resort to looking for the courier on route and intercepting the parcel myself. Excuse for previous failures - “too busy”. SD customer staff unable to help !”

We’re pleased to know that you’re happy with the product itself, but we completely understand how frustrating the delivery issues must have been. To clarify the timeline on our side: your parcel was collected on Thursday 24th. Unfortunately, the driver ran out of time on Friday and was unable to complete the delivery. As the weekend is not included for delivery days the parcel was delivered on the Monday. We fully acknowledge this wasn’t the level of service you should expect, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience and for the effort you had to go to in order to receive your parcel. “I ordered door seals which I recieved quickly and they were really well made sadly there too narrow for our door threshold my fault has I’m not sure what type we really needed they looked the closest in style”

“Good value for money, item as expected, easy to order. Delivery delayed because there is no point in providing delivery instructions to you, as these are not passed on to the courier. We knew we would be out when delivery was due but presumed our instructions would be followed. However, we had a card through the letterbox to arrange re-delivery. On querying this with APC, they said that alternative delivery instructions need to be on their website. Your invoice had my instructions printed at the bottom, but this was inside cardboard packaging and a plastic bag - certainly not accessible to APC! Otherwise, good service, many thanks, but cannot review the item as we haven't used it yet.”
