About Profoil Systems Limited:

The online shop for professionals in the hot foil stamping and embossing industry.

We're a company based in Ipswich, England and located in the eastern region of Suffolk. Located approximately 100 kilometres east of London, Ipswich benefits from good and frequent train/rail connections with the capital and the neighbouring sea port of Felixstowe.

Profoil now has customers in over 60 countries worldwide.

Profoil first started business in 1989 to supply consumables and machines to the foiling and embossing industries. The first products sold were die fixing toggles and machine spare parts, but have since added hot stamping foil rolls, foiling and embossing dies, make-ready materials and many other consumables – in fact, everything needed for the foiling and embossing professional. Profoil's relationship to the Blockfoil Group aids the reassurances it can provide to customers on the quality of the product range – “there is no better experience to gain than using the products you sell” (Sales & Marketing Manager of Profoil).

Now Profoil manufactures most of the products sold by using the in-house team of expert design engineers. All manufactured products use the highest quality steel available.

Profoil started the online shop in the Autumn of 2009 and over the months it has continued to improve the range of products sold. With a defined strategy based upon quality and service, Profoil listens to its customers feedback and strives to always improve overall service – including the processes to order and functionality of the online shop. Such improvements are always on-going.

Hello John Thank you for your review. I have checked the order notes and spoken to the team regarding your comments. We are proactive with our reviews and will always take them constructively in order to improve our service however we are a bit confused with your comment as this order was shipped by FEDEX. In the UK FEDEX are going through a merger with TNT which is not yet complete and often confuses matters so the option on the website would have said FEDEX/TNT Express. It is true that we do not ship via UPS but we allow customers to arrange their own collections and supply us with a label. I have asked the web team to review the order process on the website to see if we are using the most effective and simplified flow through the order and checkout process. Paid and invoiced for next day delivery did not turn up for a week later spoke to a lady in the office about refund for next day delivery its been a month and no reply

Unfortunately, I am totally disappointed because I haven't received my order yet, which was expected on 31st of August in France. It's still stuck in a "transit" status until now, when checking status online. I missed the deadline of prototype for my client. I don't know what I can expect from now.

Dear Emiliano. I have contacted you a number of times outside of the review system, but with no success. As I explained in my email, it seems the cost that you refer of paid to your countrys customs control should be all VAT, of which your business can claim back in the usual process. Unfortunately, we, here in the UK, have no control over how your country's government is communicating with it's business community on what the terms of the latest agreement between the EU and the UK are effecting import procedures. I have offered to check your Customs invoice for any errors but you have not responded. I'm afraid there is nothing else we can do to help you, until we here back from you. I ordered letterpress ink from this online store. Order number No. N210355. After payment, a manager named Craig sent the package to the specified address. But a week later, the package returned to the store. When I asked Craig why the package is still with you, he replied that I had to provide the legal address of the company, since he cannot send to individuals. Okay, but you could have asked me about this before sending the package. After that, Craig asked me to pay for the shipping again. In total, I paid for delivery twice 30 + 30 = 60 pounds. And when I told Craig that he was blaming his mistakes on customers, he was offended and stopped responding to my requests. I still received the package. A month later, I needed ink rollers and wrote to Craig that I would like to buy them. But he continues to ignore me. I believe that such a person cannot occupy the position of a manager, instead of making a profit for his company, he is offended like a child and does not answer my requests.
