I bought a jumper from seasalt from you last week. I have only worn it twice and it already is covered in little bits of wool/plucking. It hasn't even been washed yet. Only after two days of wearing it. I would like to return it or put a complaint in. This should not be the case. It wasn't a cheap jumper either. I don't know how to return it so do get in touch to let me know. It has been worn though (2 days). I have tried to make a photo of the sleeve to show the bits on it.

Hi Evelyn, Thank you for your review and while we are disappointed with the rating received for our service, we completely agree that this jumper should not be showing wear of this nature after a short amount of time. We offer a free returns service for you to get this back to us so that we can get a full refund sorted for you. With the products in your order and their origin, this looks to be an error on behalf of the customs office. No duty should be applicable to your order, only VAT. Given we haven’t yet received the goods, then zero would seem appropriate. Where is the nightdress? Having now tracked the parcel, and finding the courier claims to have delivered it, the photo was not of our front porch. I went searching and found it in front of our neighbour’s front door - and he has been away for the last 2 weeks. Lucky it wasn’t picked up by somebody else. Pretty poor service by the courier.

I have taken a look into this and can see that while delivery was made in 2 days, I can only apologise for the Royal Mail leaving your delivery with a neighbour without leaving a card and we will be taking this up with the Royal Mail directly and passing your feedback along too as this is not their usual standard of service. Terrible service on the items i returned for refund. Returned on 23/5/22, tracking shows received on 26th, no refund by 31st so i emailed and you said you had received items on 28th!! and refunded to PayPal on the 31st after my email. It then took until the 13th of June, that's two weeks before the funds were back in my paypal because you used an e-cheque and it took that long Paypal tells me, before the funds were cleared from your bank. Terrible service. I buy a lot online and never has a refund taken that long or even half that time. Most companies are almost instant from when they receive it. This was the first time I've used you but I wouldn't use you again for that reason. That's far too long for a refund.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your feedback and I can only apologise for the exceptional delay that occurred when we processed your refund. As you mention, we issued your refund on the 31st May and these should be instant back to your PayPal account (where Paypal has been used). In this case, due to an error in the way we processed your refund this was incorrectly issued as a Paypal e-cheque, this shouldn't have happened and we have given our team additional training and changed our processes to ensure this one-off incident does not happen again in the future.
