“Excellent experience from start to finish! From the ordering process to the customer service, I was very impressed. Then the product itself was just brilliant - well-thought out and excellent quality. Really fun story to set the scene that my kids loved, then everything in the magazine made it even more fun for them. Honestly, super impressed!”

“Fun activities magazine, unfortunately the story books are poorly written. As if chat GPT is the author...my child still enjoys it but I am taken back by the low quality everytime I read it to him. It's also quite sexist and gendered with the character of the little girl being petulant and uninterested in history and the character of her brother being the explainer and knowledgeable one. Sad to read this kind of stuff in 2025...”

“Excellent customer service, even better resources. These packs are excellent value for money and of high quality. We use them to supplement our home education. They are brilliant for teaching History as well as Geography. The magazine is packed full of facts aswell as lots of fun activities and jokes. As it comes with a world map, my childen are becoming more aware of the geography around each age, they love to pop their stickers on the timeline and world map (and themselves) The story is also an excellent resource for immersing the children in the time period. It is well written and references the magazine and historical facts . I'd love to see more time periods in the future!”

“My son loved these monthly subscription magazines and books! We used them as a supplement to our honeschool history and geography studies. The accompanied book truly bring the time periods to life as "living history" for the student. Which follows our Charlotte Mason style of homeschooling. He loved the magazine just as much! They are filled with fun facts, seek and find, crafts and games and a fun quiz as the end to test your knowledge of the time period. And the stickers and bookmark included each month are a fun bonus as well! I would give 100 stars if there was an option! If you are on the fence, just do it, you won't be disappointed!”

“There was so much included in this pack. Story, facts, crafts, puzzles, recipe - my kids (7 & 10) spent hours exploring Ancient Egypt. I'd say they are experts now! As a parent, I was impressed with the quality. I am always on the look-out for ways to get my kids away from screens and this was excellent.”

The plot-lines of the chapter books included in each pack are indeed a work of historical fiction, but each one is carefully woven with factual elements to create an engaging and historically immersive experience for young readers. The accompanying history magazine is 100% factual and adds depth to the story, offering true historical context with non-fiction elements such as a contents page and glossary. Our entire concept is to combine fiction with non-fiction in a way that captivates children, helping them learn about history in an enjoyable and memorable way. “My three children (ages 6, 8, and 11 at the beginning of our subscription) were delighted to receive this monthly box for a whole year. They eagerly looked forward to each box, and then delved into related videos and books they found at the library or that I found for them online. A lovely was to spark curiosity and interest in history!”
