“We love these boxes. The activities are always extremely engaging, and that every thing you need is provided makes it really easy to set up. My children love the stories, and can access the magazine and games independently. A really engaging way for them to learn all about important historical events. The world map makes the Geography links really clear too”

“Fun activities magazine, unfortunately the story books are poorly written. As if chat GPT is the author...my child still enjoys it but I am taken back by the low quality everytime I read it to him. It's also quite sexist and gendered with the character of the little girl being petulant and uninterested in history and the character of her brother being the explainer and knowledgeable one. Sad to read this kind of stuff in 2025...”

It’s so wonderful that your son is enjoying the stories. The stories have all been written for children in a way to make them accessible, so that even the most reluctant reader will enjoy them. They are a fun and immersive way to engage kids in learning history through stories, which seems to be a hit with your son. The books were written long before ChatGPT was around; there is a copy of each book in the British Library from when they were first published nearly 10 years ago. The characters’ personalities are not related to their genders. The girl is three years younger, so the boy is simply able to read information more quickly to share with his younger sister. The girl is sporty and independent, and the boy is quiet and sensible. We simply see two very different personalities with different strengths and different learning styles. It’s wonderful that you appreciate the quality of the magazine and activities, and that your son is enjoying the stories. We hope you continue to enjoy the adventures!

“Excellent customer service, even better resources. These packs are excellent value for money and of high quality. We use them to supplement our home education. They are brilliant for teaching History as well as Geography. The magazine is packed full of facts aswell as lots of fun activities and jokes. As it comes with a world map, my childen are becoming more aware of the geography around each age, they love to pop their stickers on the timeline and world map (and themselves) The story is also an excellent resource for immersing the children in the time period. It is well written and references the magazine and historical facts . I'd love to see more time periods in the future!”

“My son loved these monthly subscription magazines and books! We used them as a supplement to our honeschool history and geography studies. The accompanied book truly bring the time periods to life as "living history" for the student. Which follows our Charlotte Mason style of homeschooling. He loved the magazine just as much! They are filled with fun facts, seek and find, crafts and games and a fun quiz as the end to test your knowledge of the time period. And the stickers and bookmark included each month are a fun bonus as well! I would give 100 stars if there was an option! If you are on the fence, just do it, you won't be disappointed!”
