“Excellent product and service. Bought and collected 5 rolls of turf for a garden border redesign..Easily cut and laid and had knitted well . Came up strong healthy and green”

“I purchased 90 sq meters of turf in late August. The order process was good and was handled well by office staff (Dawn I believe). The delivery was prompt notwithstanding some fairly difficult delivery instructions by virtue of restricted access. The driver was excellent. The only blemish in the whole process was that once we were half way through unloading the pallet we found 6 turf rolls that were rotten and literally they fell to pieces. Luckily our measurements had taken some contingency into account but it was touch and go for a while.”

“The turf was quite dry on arrival and needed a thorough watering over the course of 24 hours. However, once laid, it has flourished beautifully, helped by a wet July. The quality of the turf was consistently good and there are no dead or declining sections. All in all, a perfect lawn, back and front.”

“If you are turfing small sections, be aware that the supply of turf is from different farms and is therefore of differing quality. My first batch of 14 sq m was of excellent quality, the next two less so, but the whole area seems to be blending well. Customer service on the phone and at the collection point was excellent.”

Hi Peter Thank you so much for your honest review and for taking the time to do one. We absolutely agree with you, although the cultivars are the same ( seed ) from week to week we change fields, so due to different environmental factors the shades can be different, but as you've said, they will always match as they are the same seed mix, so therefore the same grasses! “Hi normally do not have any problems with George Davis Turf but my last order was not as good as should’ve been it was in the dryer period and 50% of the turf was soaking wet and 50% of the turf with dry and falling apart and still having ongoing concerns with the client! We will over seed now the weather has improved and hopefully this will resolve the problem. But normally we do not have any problems hopefully this is the same for the future? Thanks”
