Got a Question?

Hi, I bought turf from you last may and also 2kg of seeds. I also bought some fertiliser and use them in December. Now the grass look a bit yellow and not sure what I was advised to do with the seeds. Please advise. Thank you, Afzal

Hi Afzal, Thank you for reaching out. Yellowing grass can be a common issue during winter, especially with the recent heavy rainfall. This could be due to waterlogging, lack of sunlight, or nutrient absorption issues. Here’s what we recommend: Drainage & Aeration – If the ground is overly wet, aerate the soil using a garden fork to improve airflow and drainage. Reseeding – Wait until nighttime temperatures are consistently warmer before overseeding. When the time is right, lightly rake the lawn, spread the seeds evenly, and water gently to encourage growth. Sunlight & Recovery – As the weather improves, your lawn should naturally regain its colour. If needed, a spring lawn feed can help boost its recovery. Let us know how it goes! 🌱
