“I had used George Davies in the past and found them a very reliable company to deal with. Earlier this spring I decided to replace a large tired patio with turf. There was never a question about who I would use to supply the turf and topsoil required. I placed my order and arranged a delivery date and on the due date I received a call from the driver of his intended arrival time. The lorry arrived and after a conversation with the fork truck trundled up my driveway and delivery was complete. The turf and topsoil were of the highest grade and the finished project looks fanrastic”

“Firsttime fill of raised beds. Speedy delivery to the correct location. Top quality sandy loam just as advertised, plants have done very well despite the tough conditions. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Hi normally do not have any problems with George Davis Turf but my last order was not as good as should’ve been it was in the dryer period and 50% of the turf was soaking wet and 50% of the turf with dry and falling apart and still having ongoing concerns with the client! We will over seed now the weather has improved and hopefully this will resolve the problem. But normally we do not have any problems hopefully this is the same for the future? Thanks”

I'm sure you can appreciate that the weather recently has been tough on turf both in terms of supply but also recovery of lawns too. “We receive the turf in April and laid it and it looked fantastic but during the summer it was completely brown and I was very worried as to whether it would recover. I’m pleased to say it looks fantastic again so I would recommend George Davies Turf very highly.”

“Stupid enough to lay turf before the heat wave! We kept it watered as best we could, then went on holiday for a week. A few brown patches to return home to but… we have the lushest most springy lawn we could ever have wished for. Beautiful quality turf in spite of the long hot spell of weather!”

“I ordered 3 bulk bags of raised bed mix. The soil was delivered on the date selected and was of very good quality, my beds have generated an excellent harvest this year. Highly recommended.”
