“If you are turfing small sections, be aware that the supply of turf is from different farms and is therefore of differing quality. My first batch of 14 sq m was of excellent quality, the next two less so, but the whole area seems to be blending well. Customer service on the phone and at the collection point was excellent.”

Hi Peter Thank you so much for your honest review and for taking the time to do one. We absolutely agree with you, although the cultivars are the same ( seed ) from week to week we change fields, so due to different environmental factors the shades can be different, but as you've said, they will always match as they are the same seed mix, so therefore the same grasses! “Good, priced quality product - spoke to Jo @ 12pm as we had been let down by another supplier. By 2pm Jo has sorted for next day delivery! Really got us out of the #@*&. Easy to talk on the phone, excellent telephone manner made it a delightful service to use! Quick and speedy service - highly recommend George Davies!”

“Very good communication ordering some turf for daughters new build rear garden. Telephoned her with expected delivery time. Delivery guys were so helpful her road was shut as it was being prepared to lay tarmac etc. Instead of just leaveing the pallets wherethe road was fenced off they carried the pallets to her drive. Amazeing service. Turf has been laid and it looks amazeing. Really excellent service from George Davies Turf. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of purchaseing turf from them as there service is excellent!!! Would give more stars if i coulf”
