About Garden Light Shop:

Lighting Gardens is what we do and have been for over 12 years. We have been partnered with Techmar for all of this time and are proud to say that we are their No1 UK distributor. We stock all their lines, including spares here in the UK for fast next working day delivery.
Over this time we have really pushed hard to provide a very high level of service to our clients on every enquiry and order. We are not just another faceless online retailer, but can be contacted by telephone or email with very fast response times. We are not happy until our clients are.
We are a small but growing company and really value all feedback we receive from clients, it helps us identify any areas that we can sharpen up on.

“The lights are brilliant. The communication from DHL was not,there were plenty of messages but it wasn't clear where the origin of the product was coming from IE garden light shop, so I marked them as spam due to the many scams. In the event they got here fine with a small amount of damage to the box despite you marking them fragile, still happy with the product thanks Andrew.”

“Cheers fast delivery they seem better than Han the last type I got as their is a seal around the box helping with waterproof the last type I brought even though ip44 rated water got in around the join in the box so I think these are well better madei used my own lights I had left over from my truck project and found these lamp type fittings at the river fest and fitted 12dv led lights in to turn them in to lamps for the gazebo always good to come up with your own designs”

“The shop continues to sell straight forward good quality products at a fair price that match the expectation provided by the sight. These lights are great for fitting within the garden at home. They are good quality, where this purchase was to extend the current system and do something a little more grand on my initial dabble with garden lights.”

“Great Products, having now spent thousands after doing my own in 2 houses and 2 for sons. But inevitably you forget some odd bits on your first order which are free delivery because of spend then add ons cost postage which is a bit upsetting.”

Hi Mr Hetherington Thank you for the review, we really appreciate it and appreciate your loyal custom. Sadly, we do not make much margin on this range (trying to keep the price affordable for everyone) and therefore we have to charge a carriage on any order under £75. In fact the carriage charge that we charge customers is a lot less than what we actually pay and we are unusual in the fact that we offer a Royal Mail service to customers for smaller items to keep the carriage costs down to them. “3 lights arrived but 1 had pins bent as it's pins were pushed out through packaging. Carefully bent pins back without breaking. All lights work fine.”

Thank you for the review, we do appreciate all reviews left. Sorry that you feel the carriage charge is a little expensive, but the items you ordered meant that we had to post them as a small parcel via Royal Mail. All our carriage charges are charged at cost or in most cases below our cost price. Also, all postal charges must have 20% vat applied by law, which sadly put the price up further. Hope this help. “Unfortunately we have been unable to connect our older light to our system as we cannot get the prongs to indent the old wires which we cannot easily replace”

Hi Mr Lewis Thank you for the review. It maybe that the cable is too cold this time of year and the spikes are struggling to pierce through the cable insulation on the bigger SPT-3 cable. We would recommend trying to gently warm the cable and trying again. Failing that, just call us. The Garden Light Shop Team

“The light itself is lovely, an addition to our others. However it would be useful to add on the website a reminder highlighting a female adapter may be required. We had to place another order resulting in further postage and delay.”

Thank you for your review! I note your comment, but it would be very hard for us to highlight that you may need a female adapter. The reason is that we offer different adapters for different size cables, and cables that already have female connectors moulded on, so we would have to list the different female adapters which would become confusing for the client. We will have a look to see if there is a way we can do this to save confusion. Thank you for the comment. Enjoy your lights!
