About Garden Light Shop:

Lighting Gardens is what we do and have been for over 12 years. We have been partnered with Techmar for all of this time and are proud to say that we are their No1 UK distributor. We stock all their lines, including spares here in the UK for fast next working day delivery.
Over this time we have really pushed hard to provide a very high level of service to our clients on every enquiry and order. We are not just another faceless online retailer, but can be contacted by telephone or email with very fast response times. We are not happy until our clients are.
We are a small but growing company and really value all feedback we receive from clients, it helps us identify any areas that we can sharpen up on.

“I have used these lights before in my rear garden amd have had noe problem and I love them. They have been in use for a number of years and they work well, so I had no problem in using them for a very small project in my front garden to light up entrance path. However, this time I had a small problem with one of the lights not working due to a poor cable conncection which I managed to find and fix. Now they are working well and I'm pleased again and keeping my Fingers crossed. Hence the 4 star rating instead of five. I have also contacted Garden Light Shop in the past hence I'm able to make a review on their support.”

“I bought Techmar Neso spots to install on the sides of my garden to complete an existing 12v System. I called and was guided through my purchase. I received the goods the following day and noticed I'd missed ordering two extension cables. They were promptly delivered the following day. The system is straightforward to install, and as I did the installation during the winter season, it was very easy to make a small insertion into my lawn to hide away the cable. Caution, though: if you have squirrels digging around in your garden, install the cables with wire protection, or they will nibble on them. Once installed the system looks very nice.”

“Got my lights from here and they are brilliant,everyone always comments on them. I've had to replace a few since I originally got mine and that was really easy but there is a down side. It would be really useful if you could just buy just the light part for the post lights and not have to replace the full post light,very wasteful and expensive. I already had the posts and spikes I just needed to replace the light but had to buy the full new post lights x 4..it my only grumble because the lights are great,really easy to install and add so much to my garden.”

“Not easy to find these bulbs, but Garden light Shop sell them at a good price and they were delivered in a few days. I’ve just replace the ones I have had to 8 years”

“I have used this shop before for garden fairy lights and have always been pleased, but now a more sophisticated project. I wanted a 12v (ie wire myself) wall lighting system that: -goes on automatically when it gets dark -switches off at pre-set time at night -outside of this time will switch on when motion is detected front, side and back of the house, so 3 x PIR detectors -ideally an open system, so that I can operate from my phone. While these guys seemed to have the widest range of 12v lights and accessories they did not seem to have anything that would do all of this: -Easyswitch get's close, but I could not see a light detector and it does not look like an open system. It also seems very expensive (eg £85 for a PIR) -hardwired Techmar motion detectors are "not recommend in combination" with other switches & only 1 motion detector per circuit The good news is that the lights (Techmar Sibus) and transformer are a nice and are a simple 2 wire 12v AC system, so it was easy enough to use the wall lamps and transformer with switches from others: -dusk/dawn: https://www.lumenalights.com/shop/product/wall-mounted-photocell-dusk-to-dawn-12v/ -wireless relay: amazon - MHCOZY 1 Channel USB 5V DC 7-32V Smart WiFi Wireless Dry Contact Relay Switch Module -PIRs: Amazon - HUBER Motion 3LV Compact Infrared Motion Sensor -connector system: CESFONJER Compact Wire Connectors Wiring up required a simple circuit diagram - parallel (lights and some switches) and series (some switches) and I got the functionality that I wanted. The approach also keeps the cost down and minimises complicated technology (Amazon Home app on/off timer is the most sophisticated system). And what about Garden Lights Shop: -what they do have was the best/easiest to use lighting system that I could find with a few hours web search. -it is frustrating that no one does have a complete solution. Again Garden Lights Shop seem to get closest, but unless I read their website wrong, they do not yet have a complete solution (yet - Nov2024). For what they can provided 5 stars :)”

“Quick delivery & easy to assemble / install bar attaching the plastic ground spike into the lamp base. Took a lot more force to engage than felt right. Had to go on line to find out how when instruction could have been on the box. Overall very pleased.”
