“Easily the best price you'll find if your buying in bulk. However with those price reductions the quality of the concrete can be lacking, such as chipped edges and bubbly / rough finishes in places. The method of transport needs to be examined as where the material is strapped and shipped, you can see minor cracking or marks left. That being said, the main attraction was price, saving me near £1k than going to a local supplier.”

“Would have liked to give 5 stars, the service was brilliant, replacements were provided without quibble. The delivery driver IS fantastic, he actually carried a 7ft x 290mm rock faced gravel board 250 yards most of it up a steep hill. I have used the rock faced gravel boards to hide a 18" retaining wall & replace a 6ft high wooden panel fence, in places I have built a structure 8 gravel boards high. The landscaper who installed my order was initially impressed with the standard of the posts and gravel boards, they had more definition, more quality and more strength than he had used/seen previously, but they were very heavy! Now the installation is complete I like what I have chosen and am happy with the the way it looks. However, both myself and my landscaper agree there are too many defects in the posts but mainly with the gravel boards. |A few posts had a slight bow, but the bigger problem was with the gravel boards, a lot do not sit flush with the board below, therefore leaving gaps between them which is easy to see through, some are wide enough to cause a privacy problem. As I have said I like and am happy with my purchase, had the gravel boards sat without gaps 5 maybe 6 stars would have been easy. One question, do the moulds need looking at?”
