Purchased designed kitchen units at the cost of nearly £10000, got fitted in November 2022. After 10 months, the hinges on 4 doors came off. I emailed Wren, they said you can buy the double brackets with 4 screws to secure the hinges. We had to fix them by ourselves. Now nearly 18 months after, the doors started to bubble badly. I emailed Wren again, they said “this is due to excess moisture from normal cooking or cleaning products being left on the door for a long period that caused the rippling effects” My kitchen is 20 m2 and we clean by normal surface product with kitchen rolls??? When asked how can moisture sit on a door surface for long periods of time, they said they are not the one using the kitchen. Very rude and unhelpful customer services. Finally, they want me to pay £303.84 for 3 sets of door replacement and we have to fit them in ourselves. Please avoid at all costs!! The quality and customer services are a joke!

Wren designed my full kitchen adding everything i needed to my provisional order. This included additional accessories like bins for my island, sink cabinet caddy bins etc. following day the manager called jack called me and discounted me £1000 on a £13k kitchen which was a surprise to me and agreed the deal. Later I received my delivery discovering that things were missing. I then checked my order and they had removed items off my order on the little things i didn't even notice! The matching splash back was removed off the order but when we saw the 3D visuals they were clearly there. This is biggest scam iv seen and would not trust!! Avoid!! If you do finalise you order please check your order and every item as they will doing anything to force a sale with miselling. I now have to pay extra £1200 to buy this missing items! Absolutely unacceptable! Oldham branch!

My cupboard doors delaminated. The customer service was awful. All they wanted is for me to spend more money with them to rectify a problem that was of their making. Eventually they offered me some compensation, but I do not recommend Wren kitchens.

Avoid WRENS once you part with your money that’s it. Fitters very unprofessional, poor quality work , took from 28 June 2023 - Feb 2024 for kitchen to be completed, cannot list the amount of issues, leaking sink etc. Have added a few photos

We had a wren kitchen fitted just before Christmas 2022. I was initially concerned about quality as it appeared poor but a friend assured us that they were happy with theirs. We are now almost 15 months post installation and the problems are appearing. About a week ago one of our cupboard doors didn’t close properly. When I opened it to look I saw that the screws holding the hinge to the carcass were loose. When I opened the door again to tighten the screws it fell off in my hand. Literally fell off onto the floor! I also noticed the same thing was happening to another door and that a decorative panel over our fridge had fallen off. I contacted Wren customer service and they ignored the decorative panel and said that the door falling off was accidental damage. Their warranty is on quality and fitting apparently. I have asked several times for them to explain how and why this is accidental damage but they just refuse and close my car saying it has been resolved. It has not been resolved!! In my opinion, the chipboard carcass has disintegrated around the screws due to the poor quality. Avoid Wren! You cannot trust them to honour their warranty and the quality in my experience is extremely poor.

DONT EVEN CONSIDER A WREN KITCHENS. ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH. THEY DONT HONOUR THEIR GUARANTEE.. Less than 6 months old and edge of panels flaking to the toutch. Also. A white patch on a door where the paint hasn't taken. (The sales person I spoke to said this frequently happens as the edges are only stuck on and sometime the plastic seals are put on the door front before the paint has actually dried ). I was told be the people in the showroom not to worry as it was under guarantee. I was also dealing with my husband CANCER at the time and going from hospital to hospital. We spent our retirement money on this. When contacting Charlotte from customer care. Who was quite abrupt and insisted it was customer damage. THERES NO WAY A WHITE PATCH IS CUSTOMER DAMAGE OR FLAKING . SOSTAY CLEAR GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY WILL HONOUR THEIR GUARANTEE. I HAVE ALSO READ SIMILAR FROM OTHER PEOPLE.

Avoid Wren like the plague if you are considering purchasing a kitchen. The pre-sales experience was fantastic up until we'd parted with our deposit. The measuring team got the measurements woefully wrong on two separate occasions and after spending ages designing what we considered to be our dream kitchen we ended up having to settle for a much smaller option but ironically paying more. The delivery experience was terrible and our kitchen fitter said it was by far the worst he'd ever had to install (we had to pay him extra because it took him 2 additional days to fix all the terrible miscalculations). Every department seemed to fob off our complaints and pass the buck and we were advised that we couldn't put in an official complaint until after the kitchen had been installed. Obviously now the kitchen has been installed they are washing their hands of it and it is honestly, the worst post-sales experience for such a high ticket item we have ever experienced. Please avoid and use Howdens or someone else!

Will never not rate this terrible company 1 star. All I can say is read the contract! The designers measurements were wrong, and we didn’t realise until we started to fit it. Called head office only to be told we can’t get the new size unit we needed free of charge, and no refund on the unit that doesn’t fit because in the contract you have to measure yourself, and you can’t go off the designer’s measurements alone. Never heard of a policy like it. I used to work in a kitchen showroom and if the measurements came back wrong, we replaced the part for free.

Service in store was great with Seyma who guide us through the kitchen process. Delivery was on time but 07.00am delivery times is not always ideal for other neighbours. Install I had booked myself externally but the price was good as we benefited from all the deals upuntil our delivery. The app was installed however difficulty signing back in to arrange replacements for a couple of shelves and missing brackets

Poor quality units crumbling after less than 1 year which Wren are advising is not a manufacturing fault - I can only assume they were designed to be rubbish quality and not even last a year then?! Would not recommend!

I bought a Wren kitchen 18 months ago. Worst decision of my life. My kitchen has been fitted 3 times due to numerous installation and product issues. I received a small amount of compensation from the Ombudsman but it wasn’t worth the time I have wasted on this kitchen. To say I am disappointed is an understatement l. I am now faced with a white kitchen which is starting to chip and show black underneath and Wren offered me a white pen to colour in the chips. Terrible fitters and substandard products. I can not emphasise enough how stressful buying a Wren kitchen has been. Below are some examples of the shoddy workmanship including a dishwasher that couldn’t open as the cooker was in the way!

They don't even deserve 1*. Wren is not only incompetent but are deliberately out to scam & rip you off. Same as other reviewers here, their salesman measured, 'designed' & sold us our dream kitchen only when it was delivered we found cabinets don't fit where they should & these are ones that cannot be trimmed but they don't care, they just want to make you a large bill & get their commission. They purposely sell & send you surplus stuff you don't need & refuse to take it back, because they 'don't have a refund policy'-how very convenient for them. They send you things you don't need but ironically not give you things you do need. We asked for & were led to believe that we had 2 pull out spice racks but only got 1, this is a ploy to get you to then buy extras & get more money out of you. They will feed you the line, 'we will find a resolution' but don't be fooled, all their 'resolutions' will cost YOU yet more money. If I was an expert & needed to check every last measurement myself, I could have just designed it myself as well, why would I need or want their designer to do it?? You will never get hold of the lying 'designer' after you've paid & signed on the dotted line. They agreed to refund one surplus item, a whole length of unopened worktop we didn't need but they haven't actually managed to get the refund into my account, a month on, 1 excuse after the other. Takes them minutes to take thousands from you but returning a couple of hundred is too much for them to cope with. No doubt my review will be followed by several FAKE 5* reviews so mine moves down & the effect to the overall rating is outweighed. They will be all polite & apologise, feed you the lines they've been trained to do but not actually do anything to help you with issues they've created or reimburse you what they have overcharged or for the inconvenience & upset caused. They will try to wear you down with the 'oh we're so sorry, we will look into it' lines hoping you'll get bored & go away. Luckily I did not use their installers or God knows what I'd be dealing with now. Disgusted with these scammers, they should be ashamed of themselves.

We had a Wren surveyor come out to measure up the room before we designed the utility room. Surprise surprise the measurements turned out to be incorrect. One of the units did not fit through the utility room door and another did not fit where it should without having to cut into the wall. – Wren's reply to this " The surveyor is only there to measure up the room, not to make sure the units fit" - I am not joking. " We send you a pre-fit pack to confirm that all the measurements are correct and that all units fit. If you do not do a pre-fit it is on you" -- again I am not joking. Basically, you have to make sure their surveyor takes the correct measurements, so the role of the surveyor is as redundant as it gets. They refused any form of compensation and said this is my fault for failing to do a pre-fit! Amazing. There is more... The hinges supplied were incorrect, the carousel unit was not delivered, and they sent us a sink we never needed, and the delivery people refused to take it back. It then cost me money to have it taken by the council. The "designers" as they called them, are completely useless on site, I am not entirely sure what is the criteria to be employed here but the bar cannot be too high. I highly recommend staying away from the company.

Wren Kitchens I would like to say a big thank you to your delivery guys for dropping my replacement oven and pretended like nothing has happened. My kitchen fitter saw it and when he confronted them, they totally denied it. Thank you for leaving me with a damaged oven. A lady I also need to say thank you to is Vanessa at customer service. Your unwillingness to help customers when you are in the wrong is top notch. Thank you for trying your hardest to not give me a refund on the oven. When I reminded Vanessa they have breached the consumer act 2015, she immediately closed my case. My advice for people who are looking to buy a wren kitchen is please go ahead and do it if you willing to fight with them over your rights. No point of going into the store where you purchased your kitchen as all they say is “there is nothing I can do, you will need to contact customer service”. All round 10 out of 10 for their unwillingness to help their customers. All they want is your money.

5 years ago we were financially blessed to be able to extend our house, and opted to buy British and chose our kitchen from wren. They took incorrect measurements, even from our plan, two tall cupboards (40cm wide), either side of the tall built in fridge and freezer didn't fit, we had to sell, and purchase two 30cm wide ones at about £600. Also the kitchen was not as long as they thought, thankfully our carpenter who fitted this kitchen, our choice and trusted adapted a corner cupboard to make it fit. Currently our once lovely kitchen is shocking, most of the cupboards coverings are coming unglued and loose. We also had last minute cancellation of our worktop being fitted, I know Wren will not do anything about our problems, avoid at all costs!

AVOID and If you have to use WREN please read, as this will be the only way to protect yourself. ppl who have written positive reviews can only be due to the order happening spot on by luck or chance. has nothing to do with good customer service. I am a very specific customer and I try and make notes and records of everything and designed the kitchen & utility for 5 months. I did spot so many errors and corrected along the way but with a long house build happening I missed 1 and I have been robbed (in my view) of £242. I am even willing to share names of everyone involved but for now I won’t. If you have the option, kindly stay away from WREN, will save you a life of pain. I was told WREN have a min. of 5 units needed in an order and my utility was at 4, so the designer (who I was told by the Coventry manager to be the best in his team) said let’s move the wine rack from the kitchen order to the utility so both meet the requirements. I specifically asked if the wine rack is the same height as the kitchen wall units and I was told YES. When I got the order, it is much longer and makes my kitchen look really bad, so didn’t fit. E-mailed the designed and the manager with picture, NO RESPONSE. I have been since directed to head office who said “WREN do not do returns, you have signed the contract” I was also told apparently designers are expected to add all notes from conversations onto the WREN system and in my case apparently this specific chat about the heights matching is nowhere logged (surprise surprise). I have been told, we as the CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE to check all measurements. In the T&C’s it says “kitchen designers are not technical experts and cannot be responsible to make sure they are the same height”. To which I have asked, then why have them. Might as well, we design the kitchen ourselves. Other issues also included items being mentioned as “comes with that cupboard” and it didn’t. And again head office will say “it’s not on your order” and you have no proof or leg to stand on. COVENTRY STORE The manager is a only talk individual. Will never do anything or take any responsibility. Will not respond to your emails when escalated and will stand behind “head office will sort it”. Then head office will revert to the T&C’s”. he talks a talk but does nothing ever to help. Kindly if you ever go to WREN, please RECORD all your discussion with anyone. Mention “based on a review read or past info, you need to record this call so you have proof if things go wrong”. The only thing I never did. That will be the only proof you can hold if you get forced down a legal route. And you need to mention this statement and get consent to be able to use. WALK AWAY if you don’t get consent, and you know why that is. DO not believe anything said or spoken of, that CONTRACT is what they put in your face. The showroom staff will say things like “no don’t worry, it’s included” / “I will add it later on” etc DO NOT BUDGE. Ensure the contact is updated and in your included items it’s WRITTEN. Even simple things like sink cabinet liners / cutlery units. All items I was told it comes with but never did. Do not use WREN quartz fitters, horrible workmanship. The only bit WREN fitted for me. Try and find your own local company. As a whole, please find another kitchen company and avoid WREN. if any solicitors read this, you have the opportunity to help so many by a class action against wren. I am not the only one and won't be the last with this experience. you should really consider helping future customers. same reason I wrote this review.

Slightly miffed... The quality of the kitchen and materials are good all round and the Wren fitter was pleasant and capable. However, while being sold the kitchen we were told if there were any problems all we do is call Wren and they'll sort it. This is not the case. Anything done by the fitter, which they supplied, Wren will not do a lick to help you at all.

Terrible service , waiting three weeks for panels and today they delivery only one. This is unacceptable . All because the designer and store manager did not order the correct panels or cabinets.
