However, certain equipment doesn't have stats about their weight or size, and directly comparing equipment is not possible. With that said, Willie's is a solid online hockey store and I hope they continue to expand their offering with brands like Warrioir and Sharewood.”
“The steel frame isn't good quality doesn't feel like steel feels like steel coated plastic. Not happy with the plastic looking heel which easily got damaged. For the price I paid it should have been better quality. Not much padding neither.”
“I got fitted in store, the boots were put on soooooooo tightly my right foot felt like it was going to break. I was assured this was how it was supposed to be and I would get used to it! Since this is my first pair of skates I am no expert, but I really should have trusted my gut at this point. I was also assured the blade was sharp enough. I bought the skates and went straight onto the ice. I was in agony. One of the other learner skaters told me the boots were tied far too tightly and to look up how to tie them on YouTube. so I went and loosened them. I was still in a lot of pain. I checked YouTube and found out where the boot should be tight when tying them up. I tried wearing the boots in at home but it was still really uncomfortable even without the laces tied at all. I bought a boot stretcher off Amazon and that sorted out how uncomfortable they were. The following week I went to lessons and I felt like I was sliding around so I asked the coach if my blades were sharp enough and she told me they are not and needed to be sharpened. I feel for all the kids that are getting new skates and essentially being told that they are supposed to be in severe pain with new boots.”
“Ordered 4 ccm coaching boards based on the image only for different ones (smaller, without suction cups and clip missing) when I called they where helpful, but they'd put the wrong picture in the website.
Genuine mistake I'm sure.
