“my first NVR. Overall works great so far 3-4 weeks in and not once had an error. software and set up was a bit clunky as no real instruction manual but i suspect Hikvision expect to sell to trade mainly. few you tube videos later i was all up and running. hikconnect also works excellent, once i set up app and triggers the messages works great with no problems i installed the cameras DS-2CD2385G1-I 8MP Turret Camera and fed cable through walls. no need to but a adapter plate for cables if you drill a 22mm hole in wall for RJ45 connection. Overall quality is excellent via streaming and recordings. Night time also excellent and very clear. currently only gone to 1080p 20FPS but will change shortly to the highest settings to test. Overall really pleased with this unit. shame i bought 3 weeks before black ones came out lol ;-) assistance was great when needed but plenty of youtube videos to assist and the useip forums excellent.”

“The use-IP website is a pleasure to navigate, making it easy to find the products that we need quickly. Customer service is excellent, and any problems we have had have been dealt with in a timely manner, with minimal fuss. We have also been provided with alot of useful advice on CCTV system, even before we made a purchase. Our Hikvision system has now been up and running for a number of months with no problems what so ever, and due to use-IP' recommendations is upgradeable and future proof for out needs.”

“As always use-ip have gone the extra mile and not only sent me photos to answer queries about my potential purchase but also follow-up emails with additional insight that was very useful. They usually have everything in stock for next day delivery or if not, have the best chance of getting something shipped to you as fast as possible For our latest simple project, we've just purchased one of the new Hikvision 5MP turret cameras from the Accusense range and despite a few reservations have been 100% happy with the purchase. We're using it with a Synology NAS and some bespoke coding to detect and send push notifications of any human or vehicles detected in quite a large open plan area. As usual big thanks to the helpful team at Use-IP!”

“Highly recommended company to deal with. Given advice on suitable system prior to purchase. Had a few problems setting up nvr etc but was quickly resolved by Dan there tech adviser. Optiva NVR & cameras purchased, very pleased with the system, works great with the Easy viewer app and relatively easy to set up. Refreshing to be able to easily speak with a knowledge human unlike many companies out there. Thanks to all, great company Glen Boyce”

“I highly recommend use-IP to anyone planning a cctv installation. I found the use-IP, YouTube videos & online forum a great resource for information during my cctv research. I called use-IP and spoke to Gilly who answered all of my questions and gave me some great advice. She asked me to email in some pictures of my house and confirmed the suitability of my intended camera locations. I placed the order and the items were quickly dispatched and delivered to my home. This weekend, with the help of the use-IP ‘Mega thread’ I have finished the installation of my Hikvision cctv equipment and got the system up and running. I am very pleased with the results so far and just need to fine tune the settings and recording schedule. The picture quality is great both night and day and the IR recording in the dark is really quite impressive. Thanks to the team at use-IP for the excellent customer service and reassuring offer of support if I need in the future.”

“The Hikvision DS-2CD2385G1 camera I purchased form use-IP is brilliant, it has a very good picture day and night compared to my old Mobotix camera from 2009 and the software interface is pretty good as well. The motion detection settings are a bit tricky to finesse, but otherwise all ok. Brilliant service from use-IP, I had a few questions before I purchased, which Gilly answered straight away and the next day delivery was perfect, the camera even had the neatest double layer bubble wrapping (courtesy of Sandra I believe) that I have ever seen! Thanks.”

“Excellent service. I asked for advice from the Use-IP team who guided me to the camera I bought. The HikVision camera I purchased was in stock for immediate shipping. “From my first experience of use-IP Ltd. I can see why the claim to be the UK's leading IP camera store is fully justified. A comprehensive web site with extensive navigation and search capabilities to find just the product I was looking for. Detailed specs and user documentation all available. Once logged into the site, all product pricing is given with no price on application pitfalls. I cannot fault customer service. I was emailed within a few days when an out of stock camera model was available again. Most if not all on-line suppliers ask for a customer satisfaction survey. Too often the service is not that brilliant and I rarely reply. However in this case I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend them.”
