About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I bought a British Blanket throw as a Christmas present for my daughter. She itold me that she and her family are delighted with it, and, foot of it's popularity nd quality she has bought a second one to have on her other settee. Ordering on line and delivery were very straight forward and good, I found, in spite of the Christmas shopping rush and Covid restrictions. Thank you!”

“I purchased this blanket to keep my lonely winter nights warm, and I’m so impressed! And lonely. Thick, luxurious, decadent, comfortable! I’ve been lost since she left, but when I’m cocooned inside this gorgeous fabric, I feel loved again. Which I’m not. It absorbs fluids so well too. And has not, as yet, needed a wash. I throughly recommend! I also recommend my wife come back, we were both to blame, but when the going got tough, I sought refuge in the arms of another. And for that I can never forgive myself. Kaeti, if you’re reading this, I still love you. Molly meant nothing. Also I finally finished decorating the living room which you always wanted. I hope you and your mother Molly worked it out. And the dog is dead. Hit by bus.”

“I wanted a merino wool blanket that hung nicely across our superking. This fits perfectly, and is so soft and warm it is often brought downstairs to wrap up with on the sofa. Will be ordering a second!”
