About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Beautiful soft king size duck egg blue blanket. I was worried about whether it would be good quality but I needn't have. It's perfect and looks amazingly snuggly. I would recommend 100%”

“I am always pleased with my purchases from the British Blanket Co. I have 2 blankets myself and have given 2 picnic rugs and 2 baby blankets as gifts. The representation on the website is accurate. The baby blankets are a good size and fine texture. My own blankets have washed successfully on a hand wash machine setting with specialist wool detergent and conditioner, 800 spin and dry flat.”

“We were impressed by your website and delighted with our wool blankets.We will no doubt be buying more!Lovely quality. Just one thing not marvellous,why once we've purchased our first items do you then offer me a discount? Everyone seems to do it but it's daft.Apart from that 5 stars all round”

“I am really impressed with the quality, design and colour of the Yellow Signature Herringbone blanket. It is a work of art and beautifully made. It also means something to be supporting traditional weavers in Britain and Ireland and the use of wool as a traditional material. I would definitely buy other products from this company.”
