About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Very pleased with the double size blanket I ordered. It is of good quality, a soft but dense herringbone weave and the buttercup yellow with cream combination brightens the whole room.”

“I was so pleased with the beautiful throw I bought that I bought another one and also one for my daughter. I wrap up in it in the evenings in front of the television, and throw it over the back of the chair to look lovely during the day. I am delighted to be able to buy something British. Delivery and communications were also excellent. Thank you.”

“Lovely small company to deal with. They answered a query very quickly and advised about ordering whilst I was away from home. The blankets arrived quickly and I was kept informed about postal strikes. The blankets are beautiful. Very soft and looked as shown on the website. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will use them again. Thanks.”

“I was looking for a good quality blanket/throw for the winter that could be used in the living room so it also had to look good. I was a bit nervous about buying a woollen blanket online as I like to feel the material and judge the weight of the fabric but need not have worried. I purchased the silver grey herringbone throw and I am delighted with it. The fabric is weighty, cosy and beautifully warm, it looks fabulous on my footstool..I love it, with the variety of colour choices I don't think it will be long before I purchase another.”

“Having now placed two separate orders with this company the service and the quality of the blankets are second to none - both arrived so promptly and though two different types of blankets were ordered (different weaves) in two different sizes - both are so warm and in such beautiful colours - would highly recommend this company …….may even have to go back for a third one!”
