About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I’m really wanted it to be great as it is a local business, but the quality wasn’t good enough to gift to a colleague as a leaving present. The inner packaging was poor. I expected a lot better for the price.”

We're really sorry to hear you weren't pleased with the quality of the blanket. Our merino blankets are woven with the finest and lightest yarns but perhaps one of our thicker wool blankets would be more to your preference.
