About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“In the last few weeks I bought two items from the British Blanket Company. I was keen to support a British Company and was not disappointed. The king-sized blanket keeps me very warm as a throw. We have saved some of our energy costs by using this brightly rainbow striped purchase. My second order, was a large scarf which is soft and keeps me very cosy on walks. I have had several admiring comments on this scarf.”

“I bought 5 blankets and a scarf. I am delighted with every single item, and so are the recipients of 3 of the blankets, bought as Christmas gifts. The blankets are well made and beautifully soft and warm. Next time I plan to buy one of the merino throws.”
