About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I have purchased three of three of the Herringbone blankets in different sizes and they are lovely on beds and the arms of chairs. They're really warm and cozy and are a very good price, I highly recommend them.”

“I bought a big shetland wool blanket and am very pleased. It is beautifully made, soft and warm. I use it as a throw on tope of my duvet for when nights are extra cold. Very cosy indeed.”

“Ordered Recycled blankets as gifts for my Mum and youngest Son for Christmas presents (unseen colours before you buy). Absolutely delighted with them both, they are beautiful blankets. So much so, I ordered another one and a couple of gift boxes to put the blankets in. 😊”

We broadly categorise the blankets into small, large and XL but there are slightly different dimensions between different designs, accounting for the difference in the two different styles you choose.
