About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Very pleasant approach to customers. The blanket, once purchased arrived promptly and in good condition. The dusky pink is a shade darker than I would have liked but, nevertheless the blanket is woolly warm and attractive.”

“I wanted to write a review for this company, as the process of buying our beautiful picnic rug was easy and swift from the choosing and buying to the receipt. The blanket is of a great quality and wonderfully soft. We were impressed by the environmentally friendly packaging and once out of the packaging we couldn’t wait to try it out. When we were looking at colours we thought it would be good to see the picnic blankets laid out and not just in their carry form, but this is just a small observation. It was great to buy British. Thank you.”

“Absolutely gorgeous throw purchased. Purchase went through without any obstacles and delivery by Hergest was excellent. Average good online purchase. My only problem was the blanket was intended as a king size bed blanket. It is however a throw which is about half the size I needed. I loved so much however I decided to keep it anyway. Do you have any full size traditional bedblankets for a kid side bed. I would be very much interested in buying one or two of those.”

“Great experience! I wanted a wedding gift and the selection on The British Blanket Company website gave a great choice of choice of colours and sizes, l chose an Orange & Grey Herringbone Wool Throw which is machine washable. Ordering was easy and quick and l received the throw very quickly and it was nicely packaged....l think this will make a lovely and memorable gift and l was happy to buy a product made in the UK.”
