About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“The throw is light, beautiful rich colours, what my daughter wanted and - it’s made in Britain! So that was all my criteria satisfied. Plus the web site is straightforward, easy to use and doesn’t look like an extract from a child’s book - marvellous!”

“Perfectly wrapped, we have 2 blankets and a throw, one of the blankets was a gift. The blankets are perfect for snuggling in and keeping warm on a cold winter's day, the throw is just perfect and looks great.
