About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“This is the second throw I have bought from the British Blanket Company. Both of them are very good quality and the service is excellent. I will be buying lots more as presents in the future as they are also great value compared to other suppliers. I also prefer buying from a British company directly rather than impersonal online companies.”

“Excellent service. Super cosy throws, useful when evenings get chilly later. Saw them when we stayed in St Mary's, Isles of Scilly in May. They were used across ends of the beds.”

“Found this company when looking for wool blankets for the Winter. Hadn’t heard of them before but loved their range of options, colours and styles. As I thought they were reasonably priced, I placed and order. Delivery was very prompt and packaged well. Really happy with the blankets - thick and warm! They sit in a wicker basket in my lounge, ready for the upcoming Autumn season. Loved the more heritage aspect of your companies identity - even though you have not been trading too long. It is great to see we are still keeping British weaving alive as our mills produce some of the best products in the world! Thank you. I’d be happy to use your company again.”
