About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

“Wonderfully warm as bed cover on cold nights. Knee wrapper by day. Soft feel neither fine nor coarse. Impressive colour range I bought a narrow herring bone pattern duck egg blue to match colour scheme in bedroom. A little short across the bed so upgraded to double bed size but had to settle for honeycomb pattern in petrol blue. Almost the correct colour but the duck egg blue was out of stock. Perhaps an indication of value and quality. Good luck with the business.”

“I was a bit anxious because colours on the photos don’t always look the same in real life. In this case, however, worries were misplaced. My Cornish blue blanket is a joy to look at, just the right size, warm and still compact. This has been one of my most satisfying purchases ever.”
