“I had taken my 1 yr old dead iphone 5s to the Apple store to fix but they said it was unrepairable (did not check it apart from plugging it in) and quoted £200 for a reconditioned phone. I saw the MacMan shop & thought it might be worth a try so paid the £25 investigation fee . A new battery did not fix it and PJ suggested calling in a component specialist who quoted £100 to fix logic board, this was a no fix, no fee quote but I decided I would be better getting a new phone. PJ could not have been more helpful & nice. They refunded me for the battery & new charger wire I had bought so all I paid was the investigation fee of £25. Additionally they were so kind as to put my photos, which they had backed up, onto a memory stick I brought in so I did't lose them which I had been anxious about. All so friendly and polite too. What a great service, very impressed, think people who go the extra mile like this should get an award!”

“I brought my son's MacBook into the store following a disaster with red wine. Although I already knew the computer was a write off I was hopeful that his research data could be recovered. The service at MacMan was prompt, professional and financially reasonable. The data was fully recovered and contributed to his university studies. Its really good to support locally based small businesses and I am happy to warmly recommend your company to friends and business colleagues.”

“Staff took the trouble to phone about an extra problem picked up on my iPad, plus of course cost, when they could have ignored it. Only downside for some people must be the three or four day turnaround, but better a good repair than a hurried and possibly poor repair I feel.”

“Booked an hour's training today, it helped a lot and took 45 mins, so they only charged for that. Will be back.”

“I've just had MacMan upgrade the hard drive in my mid 2011 iMac from 500GB to 2TB SSHD and it works a treat. Apple said mid 2011 hard drives could not be upgraded because of cooling issues, but MacMan solved the problem with an OWC thermal sensor made especially for mid 2011 iMacs. MacMan are true mac enthusiasts and offer a friendly, prompt & and professional service.”
