The handle I chose was delivered on time and reliably. It's was a single handle, cheap enough that the £5 admin and post was the bigger part of the fee. However, I accidentally ordered the wrong size (the default small one). When it arrived, I used the chat to explain that I had made a mistake, actually wanted a larger and more expensive one, and asking if could be a reduction in the admin and postage to avoid paying £5 to return the smaller one and £5 for a new one. The reply was that nothing could be done. That's legally correct, but it clearly wasn't worth me paying £10 plus the price of a handle. I don't know what margins there are on the products, or the actual "admin and post" costs, but I'm guessing there was room for a small goodwill reduction somewhere. I bought another one via Amazon , which is probably what I should have done in the first place.

Dear John, We need to clarify a few things here, firstly your order including delivery was £8.60, £3.61 for the goods and £4.99 delivery, We don't understand where you have got that there is an 'admin fee', No admin fees are applied to anyone placing an order with us. The error was on your side when you placed your order, to which you have admitted. You had asked us on our online chat that you needed the 50mm in diameter and not the 25mm, along with not paying the return fee and a new delivery fee, you didn't ask for a reduction, you actually said "without having to pay £5 postage in each direction" You also mention our margins on our proudcts, out of your £8.60 order, as a company we have to pay the VAT, rent on our building, insurances, delivery costs, staff wages, electric costs and still try to make a profit in order for us to invest in our companies future, please enlighten us where do you think there is room for a goodwill gesture? So overall we think that parts of your review are very misleading, we always try to help in way we can when the customer makes a mistake, but as in this case, this would have meant you placing a new order for the correct size hence incurring a delivery charge, Unfortunately Royal Mail doesn't give us any goodwill gestures even when we make mistakes. The handles themselves are nice. Having paid more for speedy & express delivery they still took 6 days to arrive which didn’t impress me. When I queried it I was simply told due to the time I ordered it this was normal, therefore don’t feel my additional payment was justified or that the person I spoke with felt I was reasonable in querying the time delay.

Dear Jane Demain, After looking in to your order, We can see that you placed your order at 4.06pm on Friday the 15th August, our cut off time is 2pm for dispatch the same day, this is stated on our delivery page, orders after 4pm are processed the following working day which would have been Monday 18th August. Your order was picked and packed for dispatch at 7.59am Monday 18th August, this was collected by DPD at 3.10pm, normally our customers receive their parcels the next working day (NOT GUARANTEED) but for some reason DPD didn't deliver your parcel until Wednesday 20th August, this is not in our control once the parcel has left us. So in our view your summary of 6 days to deliver is misleading as this is only 5 days which also is over a weekend, we also state on our delivery page that deliveries by DPD is 1-2 working days from the date of dispatch, so we delivered your parcel in the timescale we have provided on our website and also in our terms and conditions which you accepted when placing your order. All the information is on our website for all customers to see regarding our delivery times before they place their order with us, if this was an urgent order then you could have contacted us in many ways to see if your order was being dispacthed the same day, We can't see from any of our records that you have done this. Nice handles, but DPD delivery service is simply awful. They clearly did not make an attempt to deliver to the right address. Drive just dumped the package at a post office - which was not even the local post office. Change your courier company or they'll upset more customers.

Dear Adrian, Thank you for letting us know, On looking at your order, We think you may have mistaken The Handle Studio for another company, your parcel wasn't delivered to a post office, we have an image of your front entrance with a gentleman accepting the parcel which clearly shows your postcode. The GPS coordinates also shows the driver at your address when the parcel was received. Handles good quality and good service but discount at 10 percent for trade isn’t nearly enough . I tell the customer to pick from website and the profit margin is too low trade would need at least 25-30% discount on online prices . Thanks

I ordered my handles on the 20th December and paid premium 1-2 delivery and they didn’t arrive until January all though I understand it was Christmas I don’t think you should have charged the premium delivery knowing full well you are closed over Christmas

Hello Rob, Thank you for your review, however I feel that this is an unfair judgement. We had full notification on every page of our website stating our Christmas closure dates and times. Unfortunately your order was placed at 7.05pm on 20th December, when we closed at 3pm on the same day. We reopened on the 2nd January and your order was dispatched from us that same day, and delivered to you on 3rd January at 1.40pm, therefore upholding our statement of premium delivery of 1-2 working days from date of dispatch, as per our Terms and Conditions. Looks like a quality product. No problems with ordering or delivery. But all round pictures would've been beneficial in my case as I thought they were mounted in a completely different way & subsequently were not suitable...

We had predrilled holes in our drawers so the screws provided were no use and far too short and we needed to buy screws with nuts.

Handles themselves are good just would be better if supplied with different lengths of bolts like other company’s do so then I wouldn’t have to cut these down as they are too long

Initially really pleased with product and prompt delivery. Handles look lovely however the description of antique brass doesn’t seem a true representation as they look nearly black which isn’t what I was looking for. Although they look very classy the handles hang loose from the back plate so when you open the drawer they come off. Also one has broken after couple of days of use rendering the actually drawer useless as unable to open with the handle.

I am happy with the product but not the Shipping & Handling charge of 5.99 for such a small parcel within England. I had to pay it a second time because I needed 4 extra knobs. One finds out about the delivery charge when is ready to pay and not before. Very disappointed

Good afternoon, Mary Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do however, believe this to be an unfair rating as the postage costs are visible on the basket page before you proceed to checkout. On your initial order placed 11 September you purchased 23 handles and the weight of the handles dictated the cost of the postage. Your following order placed 05 October was for five more handles. The postage cost for this was also clearly displayed prior to you proceeding to checkout. As you can appreciate, we cannot waive the postage on a subsequent order because the customer requires more handles. Please consider revising your review Many Thanks The Handle Studio

The handles look great but the screws supplied were bad quality and a bad match for the handles. The thread was too tight and the heads stripped way too easily! Otherwise would have been a 5* experience

Disappointed with colour..not as dark as I thought they'd be. They look just like standard stainless steel. But that's on me, I guess. If I had more time I would have returned. Package arrived super fast. Lots of choice. So still recommend.
