About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“Our 6 year old daughter was struggling with her traditional bike with stabilisers. She was disheartened and hated trying to ride it. I found kidvelo bikes online and after reading every comment, ordered 18inch balance bike with attachable pedals. It was the best decision ever. Delivery was very good and quick. Bike was easy to assemble and absolutely great quality. My husband who has always been into bikes, couldn't find a single fault to the quality. His word was 'superb'. Our daughter started balancing on Friday and she was ready to attach the pedals on Monday. Seeing her big smile and confident riding is priceless. Bike is very very well made, very lightweight, brakes are great and more importantly brake handles and just great for little hands. This is a great investment, thank you very much Kidvelo.. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“Fantastic Customer Service. Fantastic bike. Before purchasing I wanted to make sure the bike would be suitable for a child with SEND age 10. The response by email was super quick & helpful and Gave me the confidence to buy from them. Dispatch and Delivery was amazingly fast & the whole process of putting the bike together using the video on their website was great. The bike itself..perfect for child that hasn’t been able to use a bike with pedals yet, and who feels more comfortable on a balance bike. It’s really lightweight too. Child is gaining lots of confidence & exercise & balance. Although this is advertised for up to age 8, child is 10 & it’s a perfect fit. They provide guidance on how to measure before purchasing. Highly recommend Kidvelo Bikes and so excited to see child develop new skills and strength.”

“After a horrible experience in Halfords where we were basically told ‘if you just get him on there he will learn’ even though we’d had the bike 2 years (originally from Halfords) We knew we had to look for something more tailored to our son’s needs. So glad we found you guys. Our son is a very tall 7 year old and the biggest bike fits him well. It’s so light. He chose green. We’re still using the balance bike bit but I can how light the bike is and easy to use I’m sure he will be peddling in no time 🥳”
