About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“It’s a lovely bike but online it said suitable from 18 months but on the bike and packaging it clearly states 2+ years. My (above average height) daughter at 19 months is too small to reach the floor on the lowest seat setting. So that was quite disappointing and I may have bought from another brand if I had known this one wouldn’t be suitable for a few months.”

“The PERFECT bike for my 6 year old boy who has autism. He used a 6' bike for years and we wanted to find him one that was bigger and had the option of balance and pedals. After trying a few other bikes from other sites (and all were awful and returned in a week), We came across Kidvelo who are one of the only companies to focus on balance bikes for older children. And I have no complains what so ever! He loves the balance bike that he goes on it everyday! Haven't tried the pedals yet but he seems very keen so good to know we have that option when he is ready. The bike is made very well, really sturdy, high quality metal frame. Favourite part... is of cource the bell! Would recomend to any and every child with ADHA or autism as it makes them feel grown up with everyone else, and allows them to get condifence at their own pace! 5 out of 5 stars!! Thank you so much Kidvelo!!”

“The bike itself is great, feels solid and well put together, bright colour which my son loves and is very light compared to others he's had which makes transport very easy. Ordering process was quick and simple with delivery on time. Going to a larger balance bike which can convert into a pedal bike wasn't something we'd considered but having done so very glad we did, it feels a very smooth transition and better than stabilisers, which get removed later. Be aware - a small amount of self assembly is required, adding a wheel and pedals but Kidvelo send all the tools in the box along with very clear instructions. Would use again”
