Star Platforms offer a UK wide powered access hire service including a comprehensive range of scissor lifts, cherry pickers and low-level platforms.

We also sell new and used equipment from the worlds leading manufacturers including Skyjack, Genie, Haulotte, JLG, Manitou and Power Towers.

As an IPAF accredited provider, we offer a range of training courses which instruct an operator how to safely use powered access equipment and obtain a Powered Access Licence.

“After 30years of ipaf training your trainer was the worst ever”

Since then, we've made significant improvements to our training delivery, materials, and instructor standards to ensure every candidate receives a positive and professional experience. “Horrible, I had many courses but they are tragedy. No one tells you how the course is going. They give you piece of paper to fill in, then display a few stories on the screen, then give again piece of paper. I failed Two, three hours and they send you home. Easy money - for them. They not so much explain or translate issue for the exam. They don't respect your money. When you work, everyone wants excellent service I regret meeting them”

Dear Jarek I'm sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with today's training. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the operator training, we have strict pass criteria, which is set by IPAF (International Powered Access Federation). “called up for a 4 electric scissor lifts for a job in Portsmouth. I was On the phone 20 minutes to be advised someone would call me back. no call back, so called them back to be advised again someone call me back. 2 days later, no call back, no quotation and no contact. I placed the 1 month order somewhere. Shame for them as was a very good order.”
