“Spanish marks uses their profit to help communities in Guatemala, so the money goes towards a positive cause. Their classes are affordable and effective, following a structured weekly lesson plan to develop your Spanish level. You can choose when you want to have your classes, and you can choose to change your tutor, or to have more than one, so the school is flexible to suit the students' needs. My teacher was Pablo Español, he is very personable and professional. Each lesson was relaxed and productive. Overall, I recommend Spanish marks.”

“I have been studying Spanish for 3 years and have tried 3-4 different online schools. What stands out with Spanish Marks is the excellent customer service, the quality of the curriculum and the teachers. Occasionally I have had scheduling questions and Rustom has been flexible and helpful with resolving them. The approach is more personal than other online language schools where there is limited communication and I have felt more like a number in the system. Additionally, the curriculum is challenging and I continue to learn. My teacher, Karina provides the perfect balance of conversation and working on homework while providing a comfortable atmosphere for asking questions, clarification, etc. Plus she has a wonderful sense of humor, which is a crucial requirement for language learning for me. I highly recommend Spanish Marks!!!”

“My son has been having tutoring with Spanish Marks for several months now and it’s been great. The lessons are well structured and the teacher, Karina, has given him a great grounding in vocabulary and grammar which school had not covered as well as this. Karina has been helping him to prepare for his GCSE and it’s given him great practice at speaking also. He enjoys the lessons and has made great progress. Would definitely recommend”

“There are many language learning opportunities online so why did I choose Spanish Marks? It wasn't difficult because the communication from them was almost instant, and there was a generous choice of tutors all acceptable, fair and with clear pricing. There's plenty of flexibility to change or postpone lessons and the platforms used are simple enough for everyone to enjoy stress-free connections. “My time at Spanish Marks was exceptional. We took part in a Women’s Right Organisation called Trama Textiles in Xela, Guatemala. Before we went we were given free Spanish lessons with great teachers who really know what they are doing and have great patience ! When we arrived, it was great, especially with Rustom Marker who was first class in anything we needed while we were there. Definitely recommend it to anyone and it is a great opportunity. I love that you can choose flexible times for lessons, you get the same person and everyone is really helpful if you need to change your plans. “I worked in Guatemala with Caras Alegres for almost 3 months and loved every minute of it. I worked in their development office focusing on women's and children’s rights. I held a workshop on Period Poverty, and I completed a funding application that saw the charity awarded 40,000 US dollars. I went on multiple ‘home visits’ where I got to see the children in the community and meet their families. The staff at the charity were amazing and made me feel welcome from the very first day. As a bonus, I improved my Spanish and got to practice speaking every day! I arranged all of this through Rustom at Spanish Marks who was extremely supportive throughout the entire process and became a good friend during my time in Guatemala. I couldn’t recommend this whole experience enough – it is amazing!”
