It sounds like your burner isn't getting hot enough to release the fragrance. We would suggest trying them in a tealight burner for maximum effect or if using an electric warmer, try at least a 40W bulb. The 12 melts of Christmas is indeed our set of Christmas melts and nowhere do we advertise it as an advent calendar. There are several pictures of the item on our website. We're a bit unsure why you thought it was an advent calendar.

“Wax melts have a lovely smell, however using 1 electric wax burner in a medium size lounge cant really smell fragrance would need 2 burners. When i took out subscription did not realize how small the wax size was. I have cancelled my subscription not due to any other reason than not strong enough for rooms in my home.”
“It is Such a lovely looking product looks so nice . The only reason I have not gave it 5 Stars as the wax dose not melt very good I don’t think it get hot enough so it just the middle that melts.”

“This was my 3rd subscription. The first one (March) was really good and I liked most of them. Since then there have been quite a few that are not my taste. Nothing wrong with them just not what I’d choose. I thought that I would try ones I wouldn’t chose but actually I need to stick to ones I know I like!”
