Very long time to wait for repairs because apparently they only have one engineer. 4+ weeks without an oven isn’t great. Also felt they were condescending to me in person, which I didn’t appreciate. Service over the phone however was great.

Georgia is lovely and helpful and they stock a good range of reasonably priced products and could do what we needed quickly. However, Jeremys attitude has left my vulnerable, elderly mother in tears with the way he treated her. It’s a shame he couldn’t have had a bit of kindness and patience towards a lady who was on her own and obviously nervous.

Gemma, we're are saddened to hear this review as Jeremy & his apprentice have acted nothing less than courtious to your mother and her property, as we are with all of our customers. They went through the machines operation with your mother and even offered to register the manufacturers warranty of the machine. They carried out the installation with minimum fuss and disturbance. If she needed assistance and was vulnurable, yourself or another member/party should have been there to assist or take control. Yourself and your mother were aware with plenty of time that we were to be arriving between 10am-12pm today and also a call was given 20 minutes before arriving. To make a personal attack against an engineer is completely out of order and disengenious as THEY DID NOT leave her in tears. They parted on pleasent terms. - Georgia
Charged for some work not done

Hello there. From the invoice number we can see (not public) we have found your job on our system. In response to your 'charged for some work not done', this is incorrect. Our charge was for plumbing works for the installation of your dishwasher and tightening of the sink tap. As explained at the time of the visit, our engineer had spent a considerable amount of time tightening the tap which has improved the stability of it, but not 100%. As observed and agreed by yourself, it became aware that there were also other issues with the tap. It was advised to you that purchasing a new tap with a different mounting system would be best due to the taps age and leak. We had advised that there would be no extra charge and would be installed within this original quoted price. Efficient service , easy to make an appointment and the chap was prompt. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t fixed - I’ve been having a bad sour milk smell coming from it, but it wasn’t something he’d ever heard of, and I was told to rinse dishes thoroughly etc, all of which I’ve done for years anyway. But I appreciate it wasn’t a specific prob to be fixed. Plus salt light constantly on, which I was told to just ignore. I did think £48 for 25 mins was very expensive, especially as I he didn’t do anything, other than told me what I already knew - this might be the going rate for appliance ‘fixing’, I’m not implying this particular company over charged, but £100 an hour ?! That’s a bit much.

HI Erika. The £48.00 (which is not £100 per hour) is our standard call out charge for attending however long it takes to diagnose the fault. The advice given to ignore the salt light was purely because you were checking the salt level manually and didn't want to proceed with the necessary parts to fix it. The smell coming from the dishwasher was not observed how ever salt deposits on the glasses was found. The advice for this was flush away the excess salt spilled into the dishwasher after refilling before commencing a wash and to make sure the salt cap was tightened. The other comments regarding poor wash performance were due to the 30min quick wash being used and expecting it to clean off cereal deposits, that isn't going to work on such a program. Advised to use the 60c wash. The dishwasher as you explained wasn't yours originally as it was in the property when you moved it. That being said you admitted it wasn't overly clean when you first moved in, that will cause bad smells etc. Finally time was spent discussing and taking measurements of the dishwasher you brought with you and how feasible it was to swap it over but you decided to carry on as you had been with the existing one.
