“My purchase was despatched incorrectly and so didn’t arrive in time which was very upsetting. It was a few days before I realised as it was supposed to be a surprise. Again, disappointing. I emailed SevenYays who replied immediately, were very apologetic and sent out a replacement order by special delivery. I can’t fault their response to the error and would still use again even though there was much disappointment.”

“Quick delivery, top quality, great items to choose from. The recipient loved it but asked me to knock one star off for the fact that she found the doors hard to open and cut her thumb on the serrated card edge”

“Great idea, packaged well and quick delivery. Only negative was my Mum found it very difficult to open the boxes, without tearing them, so won't be able to re-use.”

“Bought one of these for a friend's birthday, It arrived really quickly and overall looked great. I left the 7th door empty to add my own gift which was simple to do. I would buy one of these again 😊 If I could make one suggestion, the gifts were not in the order I chose them, which is not the end of the world but I had put thought into the order he would receive them day by day. So maybe this could be thought about in the future.”

“Gifts are good, the box is of a good design. Have used it once before, perfect timing but this purchase arrived 2 days early which spoilt the surprise.”

“This made a change from the usual choice of Birthday gifts. I enjoyed working out what I would put in the box, and the receipient enjoyed opening the contents. I'm not sure I would use the service regularly as I did find it a bit costly”

“My grandson, aged 9, was reportedly very pleased with his box of children's things. He especailly liked the lazer gun keyring! I found the choosing process a bit tricky as I couldn't see how to change my selection as I was doing it. It seemed you could only change it on the last page.”

Hi Naomi, thank you for your feedback. The sustainability of SevenYays boxes is something very close to our heart. All our packaging is made in the UK from sustainable sources and is 100% curbside recyclable ♻️. All the trials we have conducted to date point to the current trays inside the box, which are made out of 86% recycled plastic as offering the best 'all round' solution in terms of effectiveness, cost to the customer, and sustainability. We know that it's not perfect, and for that reason include with our boxes recycling and reuse information whilst continuing to test new ideas and methods to optimise our environmental footprint.
