“Truth to tell, I probably wouldn't have written a review as I wasn't 100% happy with my order, but as you've asked me, I'll be honest! The concept is excellent, the service superb and my husband was beyond thrilled with his box of yay's. Sadly a bottle of gin was substituted for a rum. My husband absolutely loathes gin, seeing his face fall rather took the shine off the day. An email saying there had been a stock problem would have avoided his disappointment. But hey, I suppose it's not the end of the world as he was thrilled with everything else.”

“This is a brilliant idea, such fun, really nicely designed and great quality items to choose from to add in to the calendar. I really like it. My daughter who was the recipient of the calendar was so nicely surprised and enjoyed every day of the seven days calendar. My only negative comment is that the price of it makes it a 'considered purchase', especailly since maybe you do not give it as a main birthday present but in addition to.”

“I’ve been looking for a birthday advent calendar for some time so I was glad to see this come out recently! The product choices were very good & my partner loved it. My only down side was that when I customised my box, it allowed you to put products in on what day you wanted it opened but when my partner opened it, it wasn’t in the sequence I put it in & I had done it for a reason! I was very disappointed that you gave that option but didn’t follow through with it.”

Hi Wunvisa and many thanks for your review. We are delighted to hear that your partner loved their SevenYays! Regarding the sequencing of gifts, we don't offer this as an option for gifts 1-6 and only the larger 7th Yay has a dedicated place in the box. We can however see why you might have thought that the order you chose your gifts in was the order they would be packed. Based on your feedback we will evaluate introducing this feature in the future, but in the meantime please feel free to message us with any specific sequencing requests. “To be fair for what you pay for the gifts you could get them cheaper. However, I've never seen an advent birthday box before to buy and if like me you've got a busy life and not alot of time to source lots of different gifts then this is a godsend. Perfectly packaged and delivery super quick. The young (23) recipient loved opening the advent doors and the favourite item was the disco party light that fitted to her phone. Would certainly recommend.”

“Bought as a gift for my daughter-in-law's birthday but I haven't given it yet so cannot comment on the contents (which is why I can give no more than 4 stars at this point in time). Website was easy to use, gave good descriptions of each calendar; option to personalise with own choice of gifts is good. Delivered safely in good time. I hadn't realised until I received it that it was intended to be delivered directly to recipient but I don't recall seeing any box to complete with details of birthday so ordered it well in advance in order to give it to my daughter-in-law myself the week before her birthday; perhaps I missed that? I think it's a great idea and look forward to giving it to her when the time comes!”

“Love, love, love the idea and the quality of the gifts and packaging is great. The service was excellent (fast and hiccup-free) and the website is easy to use. All brilliant! What would make it five stars for me is if there were a bit more choice for men & less obviously ‘girly’ gifts for women. I guess, just a bit more variety. But, having said that, I will happily recommend it to others! Thank you :)”
