About Royce Lingerie:

Royce Lingerie is the world’s only wirefree bra specialist.

They make non-wired bras for everyday comfort; for pregnant women and breast-feeding mums; for teens; for sport and for women who have had breast or chest surgery.

The company was established in 1991 and continues to be run as a family business. The first design was a nursing bra and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since with five different categories in the range today. Royce has always made bras without wires, as they provide so much comfort, whilst offering the best support and fit.

All Royce bras are designed in the UK, from the first concept all the way through to the finished garment. The bras range from a triple A through to an L cup, which requires skill and expertise to ensure the bras are supportive whilst looking great too.

After the initial design phase, sample machinists make up the garments, which are then fitted on real women for testing, to get the style and fit right. Technology has changed over the years, but the care that goes into every garment remains the same.

“Sent item back. Did not think there was enough support in bra, boobs just fell out to sides, not very flattering. The shorts didn't look like picture, they are more like large briefs than short shaped”

“I returned both bras I bought as much too small, even although I am currently wearing a 32JJ and have been for many years. Nice bars though and I would really like to find a wireless bra that fits.”

Good afternoon, Thank you for your honest feedback. We find that customers tend to find Royce bras are a slightly firmer fit compared to other brands as 80% of the support comes from the under band. “I tried on a few sizes of the supreme comfort bra. Unfortunately I could not find the right fit. I would prefer wider straps and a slightly deeper band underneath. It didn’t feel supportive enough. But the material was lovely and soft and comfortable.”

“I bought two Skyla bras for my daughter. Within days there was a hole in one, and the stitching for joining the strap to the back came undone on the other. Lovely bras, idea for her, but sadly poor quality for the price.”

“Little disappointed. I washed by hand but the padding in one of the cups became uneven which is a problem as it’s a T-shirt bra.”

“Over the past couple of months I have received a number of advertising emails from Royce lingerie including one on December 27th 2019 with the headline ‘ “ Find your perfect fit “ - we’re committed to helping you find the right size bra that will make you feel comfortable and look great ! ‘ As a recent breast cancer patient , who had two lumpectomies and a mastectomy within 6 weeks , I have found this not to be true , unlike Anonymous who posted four months ago . In response to a query about the lack of post surgery and mastectomy bras to fit a 32GG I was told that the company “ are unable to stock all of our bras in all of the sizes as we make the sizes that we sell “ which I take to mean is my size is not economically viable. I mentioned this response during my orthotics appointment and the nurse said that it is a major issue for her that she is unable to offer products to her larger cup size patients . And then to add insult to injury I received an email on January 23rd 2020 from Royce advising me on diet and exercise . So it is not prepared to spend on creating products for a sizeable community that needs to be catered for I.e. women with large breasts ( though I am aware that a pocketing service is available ) but will spend on advice in area which is not their area of expertise . Very disappointing . I should add that I am the owner of two Royce sports bras impact free that are made in my pre operative size of 32GG.”

Dear Sarah, Thank you for your feedback and honest opinion, we value customer feedback and have passed your comments onto our Design team. I think you will be pleased to know that due to come out this Spring, we have a post-surgery bra based on our successful Blossom Nursing which will go up to a 42G/GG/H and has pockets. We also have another bra in the pipeline especially for bigger cup, post-surgery customers. At the moment, all our e-shots are general and sent out to all our subscribers; we are currently working on taking customer’s preferences so we can target emails to specific customers as opposed to receiving all content. “I appreciate the products, but as a consumer in the USA, the communication about shipping that I was promised has been lacking. I know they got my order, but I haven't heard anything since. I also had to take time to figure out whether or not I have to pay VAT tax, and there was no information on the website about how to determine this. I realize that I am not their typical customer, as I am not purchasing from within the UK, but they don't call it the World Wide web for nothing, and Royce could do a bit better with managing their international customers.”

Hiya, Thank you for your feedback. Firstly, I would like to apologise that you felt that communication regarding shipping has lacked. We do send out a confirmation email once the order has been processed on our website and then another email once the order has been dispatched. With orders being shipped to the rest of the world, it does take 7/10 business days and this can be delayed if the order is placed on a Friday afternoon or over the weekend. “Have tried ordering a particular bra in white (always skin tone available) but seems to be continuously out of stock, clicked email when back in stock !!!!!!!! Either its discontinued or has never been back in stock which is several months ago - no response - nothing”

Hiya Carla, I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with a particular bra. After looking into your order, it seems that you may be referring to our Ultimate Comfort in White which has now been discontinued I'm afraid. We currently do not have the facility to email when an item is back in stock, only add it to your wish list for future ordering however this is something that we are working on to give our customers a better shopping experience. “On the bigger sizes (36jj) the band tends to curl up a bit, bunches up and digs in a bit, could do with being a bit thicker material maybe. But generally nice fitting and comfy.”

“Size is completely out of Wack - Ordered a Bra 40-C the girth was short by 1-2 inches and the cup size was 1 size larger ==> my suggestion is that you order --- 2" larger and 1 cup size less I am located in the USA if that makes a difference. So I should have ordered 42-B and that would have fit properly.”
