“Pure Cremations take away so much worry at a very distressing time. They simply took care of everything. It was a seamless service and everyone we encountered were sympathetic and efficient. It was Dads wishes to use this service and although some of us were initially sceptical we have all decided this is what we want now. “My brother Eric was a single man living alone since his mother’s death in 2003. Our family living is apart by two hundred and forty five miles so an easy get together needed a simple answer. Pure cremation was contacted by me his brother and executor. Their kindness and understanding helped me fulfill his wishes “ not to make a fuss over his passing “. I have arranged a wake to celebrate his death which will be attended by thirty members of his club BRMC and the family on October 5th 2022. “So sorry for the delay , My Family would just like to express how grateful we are for the way you all dealt with my Late Father Mr George Reynolds. The service that you provided for us was 1st Class , with him being collected & taken away within hours of his Passing, and being returned on the day that was arranged (even with it being a Bank Holiday). We were informed of every movement within the process of the final cremation. It took the whole stress of having to arrange a ‘full’ funeral away from the family , at a very sad & emotional time for us all. You will be highly recommended to others (when the time comes). “Pure cremations has looked after my dad and having to deal with the doctors who caused alot of problems so from the time he got there to actually being cremated took a long time but chloe and the rest of the team where very helpful and kept me and the family informed All the time. “I chose PC because mum didn’t like things to be to fussy, she also thought funeral costs could be stupidly high and a waste of money. She wanted us to celebrate her life later when we were in a less emotional place, I was overwhelmed with lots of affairs to sort out, PC was the easiest of all, they were empathetic professional kind and just fantastic, they talked me through all the options and it was straight forward you speak to your dedicated nominated person, who keeps you informed on the steps you chose, mums ashes were returned to me at a place and time I chose with a beautiful picture of the sea side on her favourite place, I would recommend them over and over as the whole experience was just right for us, we will have a get together and celebrate mum our way, mum would have approved as dealing with people now is hard in this internet age, thank you for being real people at i time when it was most needed. “From the initial phone call right through to my Mother's ashes being returned I have found dealing with Pure Cremation to be stress-free. “From the very start of planning my brother's funeral with him right up until after his cremation, Pure Cremation were absolutely incredible. Every step of the way, they were attentive, professional and extremely helpful. They contacted me several times to keep me updated on what was happening, from collecting his body, placing him in their chapel of rest and informing me when the cremation was taking place. I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough. They have been amazing. They even hand-delivered his ashes in a nice tote bag. The rest of my family (me included) will be using them again in the future.”

“I mainly spoke to Kingsly, what a pleasant gentleman he was and looked after mams wishes, including making it possible to get mams ashes to us before my sister had to return to Canada, I also spoke to a couple of your female staff they were also very courteous and helpful, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services but in a nice way I hope I don’t need you for quite sometime. “I can't sing the praises of Pure Cremation highly enough. My Husband died very quickly of Pancreatic Cancer during Covid in March 2021. There were no funeral arrangements in place and none of us wanted a socially distanced funeral. My two children were heartbroken and I couldn't imagine anything worse than subjecting them to another funeral let alone their own Father's. Pure Cremation handled everything very sensitively and whilst their was an initial misunderstanding as regards paperwork, this was rectified quickly. Pure sent my Husband's ashes home and even when I had to ask them to come back at a later date and return the ashes for scattering at their own crematorium ( I didn't receive any response to my emails or phone calls from Sunderland Crematorium until quite a lot later) everything was handled very smoothly. When my Mother died more recently in February 2022 she had a prepaid plan with Pure and everything was very straightforward, even when we altered the original plan & asked if my Sister could collect the ashes to scatter at York Crematorium. I have been so impressed that I have taken out a plan with Pure Cremation for myself. My eldest child has a mild learning disability and wouldn't be able to organise a funeral and my youngest child will have quite enough to sort out without having to worry about funerals and what to say or what not to say. The whole process of death is disruptive, emotionally draining and harrowing. Funerals add another layer of unnecessary complication to the whole process. I also feel happy knowing that I will be scattered at the same location as my beloved late Husband. My children have also commented on how much better they feel for not having had to endure a funeral. Thank you very much. I have been able to grieve with my family in a dignified, quiet manner during these painful times and that is all anyone can really ask.”

“Such a caring and empathetic experience with Pure Cremation, all of the stress of arranging a funeral was immediately taken away. Dad didn't want a funeral so we had an informal family gathering to raise a glass to him, it was a lovely evening filled with stories, pictures and laughter, a lovely way to remember Dad. Rick delivered my Dad's ashes back to me recently and again, very professional and caring, Dad is now at my home and wearing his cap until I take him back to the North East where his ashes will be scattered.”

“As a family we had seen pure cremations advert on tv and discussed using them as Dad had cancer. When the time came I can honestly say that everything ran seamlessly and all the staff were very helpful and considerate. “I had a good experience with Pure Cremation. They were very helpful to me in organising everything. They were clear on what I should be expecting and when they said I will get my loving husband's ashes within 21 days, I definitely got it. There was a bit of a delay on the time they said they will deliver the ashes but I understand it was due to an unforeseen circumstance so overall well. I want to share a glimpse of the memories my husband left behind. He was a good man, a good provider, very disciplined, probably knows how to fix everything. He was my rock and my soulmate. Keith, you will be remembered by me and all the people you love. May you rest in peace. We love you.”

“This company did everything that was expected of them. Professional, kind, caring and ideal to make such a terrible time a little better. I was married to Margaret for 53 years so I feel as though I am exhausted and suffering from post traumatic stress disorder rather than pure grief as she was so disabled for so many year and I was her full-time carer. Thank you for all you have done for me and for our family. The RNLI will scatter Margaret's ashes into the sea in December when the lifeboat is not so busy. I would recommend you to everyone.”
